Yejin kicked the small pebble on the floor out of boredom. Yejin, Aera, Sunghoon, and Jungwon are currently waiting outside of the small shop since Jake told them to. He hadn't arrived yet, or at least that's what they had thought.
"Where is he?" Aera sighed while leaning against the wall. Jungwon crossed his arms and looked at all the people passing by, "He was the one who asked us to come here yet he hasn't even arrived yet."
Yejin shrugged at the two of them. She was a little bit freaked out by how quiet Sunghoon was. He doesn't talk much, and out of the four of them, he is definitely the most introverted. From the looks of it, Sunghoon isn't really warming up to Yejin, which she completely understands.
He may talk a lot on text, but to everybody, that isn't even a lot. Sunghoon doesn't usually talk on group chats or texts in general unless it is completely necessary or important.
The bell that belonged to the small shop made a small sound and it revealed a Jake who was holding the door for them, "I thought you guys saw me through the window. Anyways, come on in."
Jungwon mentally slapped himself and went inside, the others following not far behind him. Jake lead the way to the security room in the back and they started going through the footage. Jake showed the part where Lia changed her clothes and turned into "Yerin."
"So it was Lia this whole time." Sunghoon sat down while keeping his attention on the screen. He wasn't surprised at all, but it was definitely a little scary knowing that Lia would go so low as to frame Yerin when she was going to send her off.
"Don't you think her trying to frame Yerin and her sending Yerin off is a little bit weird? I only asked Lia to keep Yerin away from Jake, not send her off. It can't be a coincidence." Yejin asked while all of them looked at each other. Aera decided to go through the footage a little bit more while the other four try to put the pieces together.
"Lia tried to frame Yerin and it almost worked. She dressed up as Yerin to make her look guilty, and then sent her off to make her look even more guilty. Without context, it looks like Yerin is running away after "murdering her sister."" Jake explained in the best way he possibly could. Everybody was able to understand, and not only that, it just made perfect sense.
"We need to turn this in, now." Aera emphasized on the word "now." All the teenagers looked at each other and gathered all the evidence they needed. They ran towards the police station and gave all the evidence to the police.

How long did it take? It took almost three months for Lia to be proven guilty, even with all of the evidence. Lia kept trying to spend her money to save herself and halt all of the court sessions. In the end, it didn't work, and Lia was put in jail for who knows how long.
Yejin was forced to be kept under watch during those three months. Afterwards, Yejin was only given community service and she had already completed it during those three months.
Jake and Yejin decided that they both need to clear some things to each other. Jake thinks that Yejin has shown change, but she will need to keep trying harder if she wants to truly earn his trust.
The two were sitting in a park. It was the afternoon and the sun was shining bright, but not to the point where it would burn your skin. It felt relaxing.
"I know you kissed her before she left." Jake jumped, he doesn't remember telling anybody. Of course, unless Yejin followed him, "Did you follow me?"
"Yeah..sorry about that." Yejin chuckled awkwardly, "I know an apology won't fix everything. But I'll try to make myself a better person. And.."
"I'll get over my feelings for you. Because you have feelings for her."
Jake jerked his head to Yejin, who was next to him, "Y-You like me?"
"Of course I do, dumbass." Yejin hit Jake's head playfully to which he responded by putting his hand on the spot Yejin hit. Yejin knew she had to let Jake go because Jake will never return the same feelings. His heart belongs to somebody else, and he is patiently waiting for that person to return.
"Jake, maybe you should reach out to her." Yejin suggested while tilting her head slightly. Jake let out a small sigh before laying down on the grass. Placing his hands behind his head for support.
"I don't want to bother her. At least, not yet. She needs time to settle, and I don't want to be a distraction." Jake spoke softly, making Yejin feel bad. Who knows how long Jake is going to wait for her. Yejin hated seeing Jake look so sad, and he is going to be like this for awhile.
"You know, time goes by pretty fast. She'll come back before you know it." Yejin reassured Jake, which made him smile softly. He sat up and looked back up at the beautiful sun. It wasn't hurting his eyes, all he saw was happiness, and more happiness to come.
"I really hope that is the case." Jake said while getting up. Dusting his clothes while Yejin did the same. Yejin felt her phone buzz and her eyebrow raised out of confusion, which didn't go unnoticed by Jake.
"What is it?" Jake asked, Yejin showed Jake her phone and he mentally slapped himself. Jungwon had texted Yejin saying that he is lost at the mall and he needs help.
"I'll go. You go get some rest." Jake said while waving goodbye. He started running towards the nearest bus stop and waved goodbye one more time.
Yejin thought it was best to listen to Jake. She did feel exhausted after all these three months. She started walking home, feeling much more free and happier than she did before.
