mannn i wanna d word
"I already talked to Kei and he approved of us going." Hikari said while looking ahead.
Y/n stared at her with a questioning look. "I never said I needed his approval."
"Exactly," She snapped her fingers like she just solved a puzzle on a newspaper. "And you will never say it."
Hearing that, Y/n averted her eyes. Trying to act unbothered by the statement.
It was now Hikari's turn to study her, they were walking side by side, finding the restaurant that Emma was talking about. Unfortunately, they were walking more than half an hour but no sign of it anywhere.
"It's kinda weird." Hikari stated after being silence for like two minutes.
"What is?"
"I don't know." She shrugged her shoulders in response. "You."
"And why is that?"
She shrugged again. "You tell me." Then, they stopped their tracks upon the calling of Y/n's name.
"Here! We've been waiting for you." Emma yelled from across the street, with a tall building behind her that screamed expensive.
Both of them cross the busy road. To be precise, Hikari just ran to her impulsively without caring about her life, making Y/n followed her like a lost puppy.
Emma squished in between them and linked her hands with theirs. "Let's go. Mikey is paying today so order all you want."
The inside seemed elegant but there was a cold aura around. Everyone appeared to be tense when they burst in but relaxed quickly when they glanced at the blonde girl.
"I have so many things to talk about with you guys. I don't have many female friends but now I have more!" She was so bubbly Y/n thought she might rip her lips by grinning too much.
The mahogany door opened, revealing the same guys they saw the other day, sitting behind that round table wearing casual clothes. All three of them stood up when they entered.
"Hello, did you get lost finding this place?" Mitsuya was the first one to greet them.
"Yeah, and the description she gave us was a bit confusing." Hikari bluntly replied.
Draken chuckled but stopped once he met Emma's eyes. "Come on, let's order something. I'm getting hungry." Mikey claimed and sat down before anyone else.
Y/n took a seat beside Mitsuya, that only smiled at her. "How hungry are you? They sell like the whole sea here." He whispered.
"I'm not a big eater but I wanna taste everything here."
"You should. We eat here all the time and the food is better than any other place." Draken butted in as a waiter came to the table, straight to Y/n's face.
He was wearing the formal attire, tattoos on his neck. Is that allowed? "What would you like to order, ma'am?"
There was no menu on the table nor he was holding one. So, was she supposed to guess the food they served here? "What's on the menu today?" She politely asked.
"We have scallops, fresh crabs and lobsters for today. We can cook it however you want it."
Hearing that does made Hikari more excited by usual. "Really? What if you don't have the ingredients that I want?"
"We can work on that." He smiled, making his cheeks puffed up.
She was thinking and fidgeting hard about what to eat as if someone put a gun next to her head if she didn't order up quickly. "I'll have lobster thermidor." Y/n said.
Hikari stared at her. "What the hell is that?" Before she could even answer her, she cut her off. "I'll have that as well."
He nodded. "Right away, ladies." The waiter walked away, leaving the room without asking the others. That only made Y/n wonder.
"Why he didn't ask everyone else?" Hikari loudly stated her confusion.
"He knows." Mikey leaned back in his chair. "Where did you learn how to fight, Y/n?"
Even a deaf guy could hear how he tried to change the subject. For whatever reason that was, he didn't want the two girls to find out.
"I used to take lessons." Y/n answered.
