(Y/n)'s POV

Cloud put me down on the ground before Barret and Tifa started talking to each other before Barret started to hug Tifa with one arm before he started looking at me and Cloud. Me and Cloud looked at each other before we started walking towards to them before I started talking to Barret, "Barret. Marlene's fine." I said to Barret. Barret just gasp at this before Cloud started talking to Barret, "She's right. Aerith found her." Cloud said to Barret.

Barret let Tifa go before he walk a little closer to us before he started talking to us, "Aerith? Is that the girl they took?" Barret asked us. Tifa just nods her head to Barret before telling him, "Yeah. That's her." Tifa said to Barret. I looked at Barret before telling him, "And my little brother Lukas. Shrina has him as well." I said to Barret. Barret was looking at me confused before asking me, "(Y/n), I didn't you had a younger sibling?" Barret asked me. I looked at Barret before telling him, "I got three siblings, one older sister, second older brother, there's me that's kinda of middle sister and there's Lukas who's the youngest. I was supposed to have another sibling but since my folks die, I don't know if the baby was still in my moms stomach, but those were 5 years ago." I said to Barret with a little serious in my tone.

Barret was looking at all of us before he started talking to us, "The hell's going on!?" Barret asked out loud. Tifa was looking at Barret before telling him, "I asked Aerith to find Marlene and take her somewhere safe." Tifa said to Barret. Barret just gasp at this before he started walking towards to me and Cloud before he stick his out before asking us, "And she did? You'll both sure!?" Barret asked us in a panic tone. Me and Cloud looked at Barret before we started walking away from him, "Hey! Where are you two going!?" Barret asked us with a pissed off tone. Me and Cloud didn't say much because we knew that Aerith took Marlene safe, me and Cloud squeezed through this gap before we started running a bit before we stopped running because we heard Barret started talking to us, "I said—where are you two going?" Barret asked us in a deep voice.

Cloud looks at Barret before telling him, "Aerith's house. It's in the Sector 5 slums." Cloud said to Barret. Barret started running up to me and Cloud before asking us, "And that's where Marlene is?" Barret asked us. I looked at Barret before telling him, "Where we hope she is." I said to Barret. Me, Cloud, and Tifa kept walking before we hear Barret started talking to us, "Tell me she is! Give me something to hang on to!" Barret yelled at us. Me and Cloud were walking ahead of Tifa before we hear loud footsteps before we see Barret looking at us before telling us, "Even if she's not. I won't blame you two for it, I swear!" Barret yelled at us.

I noticed Cloud looked a little shock but I couldn't tell on his face anymore before we hear Barret started talking to us, "Who am I kidding. I'd probably try to tear your heads off." Barret said to us in a little sad tone. Barret walk up ahead before we noticed Tifa was next to me and Cloud before I started talking to Tifa, "Hey, Tifa. Know anything about 'Ancients'?" I asked Tifa. Tifa was looking at me before telling me, "I know I've heard of them at least." Tifa said to me. Me and Cloud noticed that Barret stopped walking before he looks at me and Cloud before telling us, "They come up in planetology books. Meant to be the original stewards of the planet. Could even 'commune' with it. Talk to it and stuff." Barret said to us.

Me and Cloud started walking forward before I heard Cloud started talking to both Tifa and Barret, "That must be why the Turks wanted her so badly." Cloud said to Barret and Tifa. I was still confused of why Shrina of the Turks need Lukas, "You're right but I don't understand of why they need Lukas as well? Unless he is hiding something from all of us?" I asked myself but of course I spoke out a bit before Cloud looks at me before telling me, "(Y/n), knowing Lukas for so long. You don't think he did something to make Shrina or the Turks piss because the guy we talked to did mention that you're little brother wasn't alone at all." Cloud said to me. I started thinking about it but of course my head started to hurt a pit before I noticed Cloud was having the same pain as I was having right now.
