Chapter 17

(Y/n)'s POV

All of us were able to get to Sector 7 and we looked around the area to see it looked real damage, "Two goals! Goal one! Kick some Shinra ass and save the planet! Goal two! Save the girl and kid—while kicking more Shinra ass—and get out!" Barret yelled out to us.  All three of us were quiet before Cloud broke the silence, "Copy." Cloud said to Barret.  All four of us started walking around the collapse Sector 7 slums, "Gotta be careful. No tellin' what's gonna collapse or when." Barret said to us.  As we were walking we see people there looking sad because their homes are destroyed and how many people lost their family and friends in the Sector 7 slums.

The place looks real bad before something started to collapse but luckily none of us got hurt, "See what I mean?" Barret asked us.  We didn't say anything to Barret because it was not worth it but as we were walking we see a guy that is cover in dirt.  Once the guy looks at us he started talking to us, "Hey, you guys might wanna turn around." The guy said to us.  Tifa started talking to the guy, "Two of our friends needs help." Tifa said to the guy.  The guy was looking at Tifa with a scary face before telling Tifa, "It's too dangerous." The guy said to Tifa.  Cloud got in the conversation before telling the guy, "For you, maybe." Cloud said to the guy.  Me and Cloud just started to get down before we started walking underneath some rubble before we hear the guy told us something, "Just try to be careful." The guy said to us.

We were able to get through before we see a ladder that was leading up, so we started climbing up the ladder and once we got up top, we see a nice view of the sunset.  Cloud was looking at me before he could say anything to me, we noticed monsters were here and they were ready to attack us.  So all four of us got ready and we started attacking the monsters, but of course Cloud told me that these monsters weaknesses are ice and wind, so I used my wind materia while Cloud and Tifa used their ice materia as well on these monsters before we were able to get rid of them.  We were able to find a ladder that was leading up, so we started climbing up and of course as we were walking around we see more monsters and let's just there was a lot of fighting monsters and climbing up ladders.

Once we were done with climbing up the ladder, we looked at the distance to see the building that looks all run down, "So that's where we have to climb?" Tifa asked all of us.  Barret started talking to Tifa, "If it comes apart while we're up there..." Barret said to us before he made a falling noise and did make a fake splat in the end as well.  I was looking at Barret and Tifa before telling them, "We've made it through worse, you know." I said Barret and Tifa.  Barret started talking to me, "Yeah, no kidding. It's a miracle we haven't been killed a dozen times over by now." Barret said to us.  I started to get down before I started walking underneath the metal pole before telling Barret, "Great, I feel so much better now." I said to Barret with a sarcastic tone.

Once I was able to get out of the the metal pole that was underneath us, I looked around the area to see that it was a dead end, "It's a dead end." Barret said to us.  Me and Cloud just looked at Barret with a 'really' face before Tifa started talking to us, "Wonder if this rope belongs to search and rescue." Tifa said to us.  Barret was looking at where Tifa was looking at, "Think we might be able to climb up here." Barret said to us.  Tifa was looking at us before telling us, "Time for the grappling guns. Try to aim for that part of the rope that's hanging there." Tifa said to us.  Before me and Cloud could do anything we hear Barret trying to joke at us, "Don't screw up and fall. By the way, how well you two do with this grappling guns will tell us a whole lot about you two." Barret said to us.

Me and Cloud looked at each other before we could say anything to each other.  Tifa was talking to us, "Just remember, we can't come back down. Are you two ready?" Tifa asked us.  We didn't say anything to Tifa before Barret started talking to us, "I think I see a rope hanging off the top there." Barret said to us.  Me and Cloud aimed our grappling guns of where Barret told us about the rope, we were able to get ourselves up before we looked around, "Too easy. This keeps up, I'm gonna get bored." Barret said to us.  Me and Cloud were looking around and that's when we saw something, we looked at Barret and Tifa before making a hand motion to tell them to keep quiet and also we hide for cover.
