Lukas's POV

The big machine was really hard for all of us that I had to take a couple of breaks from going on a full attack on the machine. Barret was using his gun arm to aim at the machine, while Aerith was using her staff to do some hits on the machine. Me and Red were just attacking the robot with our materia but Red did was his own attack, while I was using the new bow that (Y/n) gave to me. I was using the wind materia on the robot but I was able to get some damage on the machine.

Aerith made sure we were heal up and making sure we were okay, but I started to get anger because this robot won't die, "Why won't you fucking die!" I yelled out in a frustration tone. Barret look at me in shock before he could say anything to me, I had my bow ready with three arrows with a wind, thunder, and fire materia on there. I fired my arrows at the robot before it finally die, 'Finally, I was getting tired of this shit.' I said to myself in my head. I noticed Barret was sitting down because of all the fighting from that robot, "Damn, does it feel good to be alive!" Barret yelled out with a happy tone. I just smiled at him before Red started talking to him, "Quite. But we could still die later tonight." Red said to Barret.

Red was quiet before he looked up before telling us, "Cloud, Tifa, and (Y/n) could be dead already." Red said to us. Aerith was holding my shoulders to make sure that I didn't do anything at all, "Lukas don't worry, I know they are safe." Aerith said to me with a calming tone. I was still upset at Red, but I have to remember that Aerith is right to, 'I am not a five year old. I am fifteen years old that is almost sixteen years old pretty soon.' I said to myself in my head. Aerith looks at me before giving me a smile, I just let a breath out before looking back before giving her a smile back as well, "The hell they are!" Barret yelled out to Red.

Red was looking at Barret before telling him, "Then we need to find a way we can all escape—and quickly." Red said to Barret. Red turns around to look at me and Aerith, "You're right. Let's go." Aerith said to Red. All four of us started walking towards a elevator. Once we got on the elevator, I pressed the button on that we need to go down to get out of here. The elevator doors opened and Barret used his gun arm to point out to make sure there was nothing to jump out from all of us. Luckily it was clear, we were walking a bit before we started walking downstairs and once we were down there, we were looking at each other before Barret started talking to us, "All we gotta do now is find the others." Barret said to us.

As soon Barret said that we hear footsteps running and there was a lot of security guards that was surrounding all of us with their guns pointed at us. I noticed a man was walking closer to the security officers, "We have them surrounded, sir." One of the security officers said to Heidegger. I always hated this guy, "Yes...I can see that. It was only a matter of time. And here we are." Heidegger said to us. Heidegger started to laugh before he stopped laughing and looks at all of us, "So then—what is this ragtag group of misfits I see before me?" Heidegger asked us. Barret pointed his gun arm at Heidegger, "Avalanche!" Barret yelled out with anger in his tone. Aerith got a little closer but she stop, "Local florist!" Aerith yelled out as well.

Red got in a fighting stance before telling everyone, "Lab rat dog." Red said to Heidegger. I looked at Heidegger before pulling out my bow and started to aim at him before telling him, "Hunter." I said to Heidegger with a anger and serious tone. Heidegger was looking at all of us before he started asking us, "And where are the rest of you?" Heidegger asked us. Barret looks at Heidegger before telling him, "Up your ass." Barret said to Heidegger with a serious tone. Heidegger just smirks at this before telling us, "Charming. Though not what I would've chosen as my last words. Secure the Ancient, but feel free to kill both the idiot, the dog, and the kid. We don't need to babysit this kid anymore, he has caused trouble with us, so time for him to die." Heidegger said to his man.
