The book of life is a movie from 2014, although it was successful, nowadays almost nobody says about this movie, even though it has McDonalds toys, and it even won an Oscar for best animation.
The movie tells a history of Manolo, Maria and Joaquin, they are friends of childhood, and when they grow up, fall in love for Maria, and results a battle of love, Manolo Vs Joaquin; La Muerte bet witch Xibalba: If Manolo have the love of Maria, La muerte wind and have the two words, but if Joaquin marry with Maria, Xibalba win the word of the remembered.
When Xibalba see that he it's lost the bet, his cheat La Muerte, and sends Manolo of word of the death, and the adventure beginning.

In the beggin he is a arrogant person, he cheated in yours fight with medallion of life (he can't die), just talkin about him with Maria, and when he fight he gave your cap for the first person who he see for fight, but despite that, when Manolo died, he don't stay happy for win the competition for love for Maria, actually he don't wanted talk about this, and probably he was refused the wedding, because he knows that Maria don't love him, and in the end, he almost die for saves Manolo.
