The movie was released in 2005, this movie is one of very movies who beginning the animation 3D, the movie is very simple for the actual days but the history is not boring (in my opinion, obviosly), the movie was produced by Blue Sky Studio, who unfortunately was closed by Disney.
The history is about a word with robot with life, the are like the humans (emotionally), they have sons and daughers, jobs, dreams and other, but when the main character Rodney have a dream for be a inventor like he's hero Bigweld he discover have a other robot in his place: Phineas, but diferenty the other inventor he is not good and pretend get rid of the old robots who don't have new parts.
Curiosities (SPOILERS):
° In a part of movie, when the Bigweld is attacked in his head for Phineas, and when the Rodney try fix him, he sings slowed the song: Daisy Bell, and this music was very important for the history of remix and the synthesize to speech, because this is the first music who change the voice of the singer; This part is approximately of the half part of the movie.
° I'm don't know if this is intentional but the Rodney reminds the Eric, the first robot of world (of course Rodney is beautifuller than the Eric, but you understand my point, I guess...).

He is a dreamer since kid, he always dream with, one day, be equal the Bigweld, and becomes intelligent and sweet, he helps the other robots with yours inventions and know concerts the old robots; He is persistent and try many times see the Bigweld, and to defeat Phineas.
Fender

He's the best friend of Rodney, but them don't are friend since kids, just when Rodney lives in the same Town as Fender, Fender it is funny and a little crazy, he is a old robot and is also poor to make new parts, this is the reason for he and his friends are persecuted in the streets.
Piper

She is the sister of Fender, she is very bossy with her brother, but it's comprehensive because they are persecuted and he is irresponsible, but she have a good heart, because despite everything she's been through, she accepted Rodney (but I'm don't know if she agree because is a good robot or just like him).
Bigweld

He is the responsible for created parts for the others robots, he is very happy and a little crazy to (but is because he is a genius), in a little part of the movie, he is melancholic, probably because Phineas take his place.
Phineas
He is the villain of this history, he take the place of the Bigweld, and expelled the old robots, he is selfish, mad and narcissist, he is like this probably because his mom, but this is a big spoiler of the movie.
