I took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry guys," I said to Lilly and Larry. "I know what happened with the St. John's brothers, but this feels... different."

Lilly shook her head.

"Lee..." She said. "I don't know..."

"This is our chance at finding Clem's parents," I said. "And maybe our chance at a better life!"

Bryan nodded his head. Larry looked at Lilly.

"Maybe we should sweety," he said.

Lilly looked around and finally caved in.

"Okay," she said. "Let's do it."

Bryan smiled and patted my back.

"Let's go big bro."

Bryan and I walked over to Amari and Miles. Shawn and Vince walked over as well.

"You need some company?" Bryan asked. "We would love to help get to Savannah. We got an RV out there. It just needs gas."

Amari nodded her head.

"Of course," she said.

She looked over at her group.

"Guys?"

Vince immediately agreed.

"Hell yeah," he said. "Let's pack some shit and go! I'm tired of this gas station."

Shawn looked at me.

I immediately felt guilt rush through my body. I couldn't save his dad and I hated myself for it. I thought he was gonna say something against me, but he didn't.

"Let's go," he said. "These are good people."

He slightly grinned at me.

"Alright," Miles said. "Let's get to it then."

The entire group stocked up the RV. Amari put gas in it while Shawn and Bryan loaded Shawn's truck.

"I saw you flirting with Amari," Michael whispered to me.

"Shut up Mike," I said, rolling my eyes.

"You got killer looks," he said jokingly. "You could totally pull her."

I playfully shoved him.

"Keep loading the RV," I chuckled.

"Fine," he said.

I grabbed another can of gas and began walking to the RV.

Clementine and Duck ran behind me.

"We're going to Savannah?" She asked excitedly.

"We sure are," I told her.

"That's where my parents are! We can find them!" She said enthusiastically.

I nodded my head and patted her hat.

"Go ahead and get in the RV," I told her. "We're almost done. You too Duck."

"Wait," Duck said in a soft voice.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"Can I talk to you?" He asked.

"Sure," I said.

We walked back into the gas station. There were still some things inside we could grab.

"Is Shawn is mad at me?" He asked. "I'm the one that messed with the tractor that day. It's my fault."

I shook my head.
