It was noon, and after five hours of grueling training, Trix felt like he could no longer stand. Who knew the neverseen did cross-country? Trix was pushed through the corridor and back into his tiny room, as he was not allowed in the main gathering area yet. Fintan felt that he still resembled a councillor and was not trustworthy yet. Trix sighed and sat on his cot, closely watched by his almost constant chaperone, the man. "You mentioned you had a family outside the neverseen," Trix said, looking up at the man. "Don't you ever go home to see them? Are you even allowed to go home?" "No," the man said, "I am allowed to go home and I do see my wife. But these days I am on a 'business trip'. It's my cover story, as I have had to spend so much time in the hideout because of the new prisoner, which is you." Trix sighed. He had been feeling very good-for-nothing lately, and the man's story made him feel like a burden. How was he going to keep his promise of escaping? He sighed. "No," he thought. "I am not giving up so easily." He cleared his throat. "Excuse me, what am I supposed to call you?" he asked and immediately felt awkward. But to be fair, the man hadn't really given him a name. The man laughed slightly and said, "In the Neverseen, my name is QS, but you can call me Q." Trix blinked. "Well," he said. "Q, I would like to take a walk around the hideout, if that is allowed." The man looked at him in confusion, as if to say, "Why would you want to take a walk around this place?" But he nodded. "Fintan said you could do whatever you want, as long as I did not let you leave the hideout or do anything suspicious," the man said as he opened the door of the room. Little did he know, that Trix was going to analyse the hideout for an escape, not look around his new home. And little did Trix know, that finding an escape would be easier than using it.
