To old readers,
This is somewhere between gratitude and apology. I don't know which of them is needed since I am changing the book again.
The idea for this book came to me after six months of having writer's block. I was unable to write anything and it broke me. At first, I refused to acknowledge that it was writer's block. Who wanted to acknowledge they couldn't write especially a skill so dear to them? But I had to at some point.
Then, one evening, I was listening to Echo by Armaan Malik and Eric Nam, when the idea struck me. I was a new Stay but I felt connected to Felix and Hyunjin.
The idea was more like questions.
"What happened when Hyunjin had to be away from Stray Kids and they went on to be in Kingdom, a place he worked hard to be in? What if they weren't so supportive? What if he was innocent of the accusations places against him?"
The initial first three chapters were a jumble of my ideas and I had to take that down to begin again. Till date, I still rewrite my chapters countless times because I get too excited and make it a tad bit too much.
I've changed the book name and I'm introducing a new chapter one while I've gone far into the story.
This story is teaching me new things about myself as a writer and as a person. I can't predict what new ideas is going to come up along the line but I am sure it's going to be good. Thank you for sticking around on this rocky path.
