The six warriors walked silently. Their long cloaks covered their heads, fitted boots housing weapons best known to its owner marched the short distance. Under the hood of the cloaks were white rare ceramic masks. Each was adorned with golden and red markings. Also, each design is unique to their descendants, a family heirloom.

It was a moonless night which made the warriors even further invisible in the blanket of darkness. Every action, calculated and practised.

The smell of blood ushered them into the crime scene. Each, took to investigating the scene before the leader opened up a mind link to communicate with his team.

An hour earlier, they had received private information about the students who had fallen victims to murder. A killer was on the loose and it was targeting innocent werewolves.

"Find anything?" The leader asked after some minutes passed.

"Wolfsbane. These kids were tortured with wolfsbane." Suga raised one of the bodies closest to him, with gloved hands and inspected the throat. "Bitten before the torture commenced. Probably to weaken them."

Jungkook growled furiously. "Why try to weaken them? They are small and weak."

"Still, they were werewolves. Newborns. Ferocious and without control. If these happened in here, I bet the killer didn't want to alarm anyone." Their leader replied. He had been standing in front of a tree for quite a while.

"Taehyung, come and sniff this tree." He ordered. The former, whose family was skilled in sniffing out oddities, that even a powerful werewolf will find it difficult to came forward and inhaled the air surrounding the tree.

His heart sank when his mind put the pieces together. What he had perceived and what it meant were two different things that shouldn't be. It was a myth! No one had heard of such creatures existing but then, werewolves shouldn't exist either. Here he was, in the flesh, surrounded by werewolves disputing the facts.

He closed his eyes and rested his cloaked head on the tree again, inhaling every scent once more, as if it would give him a different result than the original. The false hope faltered and patience wore thin when his leader's voice echoed in his head. "What did you perceive Taehyung?"

The others had paused in their positions, listening and watching him hesitate.

"Rose. Sage. Cardamom. In that order." He responded.

"But what does that mean? The killer used those herbs for what?" Hobi questioned.

"Magic. At least, that's what I see. These herbs were used as a booster for magical spells."

Taehyung imagined that if his team were unmasked, each would wear the same expression. Shock. Unbelief. Doubt. And if he was real with himself, he was no different.

Hobi took the first step in breaking the stiffness. He rebuked the thought immediately. "Surely, you must be wrong about the conclusion. Magic doesn't exist at least, not for the past thousand years."

Namjoon crouched down in front of the tree, flashed his werewolf eyes before addressing the others. "Taehyung may be wrong but this is the only spot with an actual foot track. But the tracks lead to nowhere. It's either the person stood here and killed these kids or something else occurred. Nonetheless, something strange happened here."

Jungkook removed the shoes of the students and inspected their feet. "It doesn't seem like they were in their wolf forms either. They were caught in this form."

"What similarities does this have with Hwang Hanbin's case?" Namjoon asked the team.

"Bite marks on the neck. But that was different. The marks were jagged and hasty. These students looked to have been killed slowly." Suga replied.
