Everything was a blur.

Hyunjin left JYP and returned to the apartment that belonged to his father. A small one bedroom apartment within the pack land.

The room still had his father's fresh scent and warmth. There was two bottles of soju on the table, one opened and the other unopened. Beside it, there were several envelopes that probably housed bills he couldn't pay.

The other part of the living room was semi arranged. Clothes were stacked on the kitchen table from a spot he chose as opposed to his bedroom. He preferred the ease at which he could sort out what to wear for his work with the Alpha. He was an omega and the Alpha's former driver. He didn't have the luxury of time.

Hyunjin sniffed and noticed there was a foreign scent in the living room. But he was too engrossed in his reality to care about whoever had been in the apartment. There was nothing of value to be stolen. He dropped his bag on the floor at the foot of the couch before sauntering to the bedroom. He sat down at the edge of the bed and the entire event of the day replayed itself in a fit of blurry images.

All that was clear was Felix. His words, his face, his voice, his silence, everything was as clear as the sky.

He glanced around the room and truly, there was nothing he could think to do especially seeing as he never agreed to his dad transferring him to a new school. He had been on a scholarship in JYP due to his musical and dance skills.

Now, he had no family. His mother didn't exist to him as she ran away the moment she realized he would be a werewolf. She wanted a human child despite mating with a werewolf. His father's financial status had not been of any help either. He had nothing. And no clue as to how he should begin his life or continue it.

So he did what anyone who had nothing and also had to leave their home would do.

He ran.

He grabbed his bags and dropped them inside the bedroom. Then, he took a shower and didn't bother wearing clothes when he walked to the front door. He locked it and shifted into his wolf form.

Their house had the luxury of having a private fence due to his father's job but it didn't mean you couldn't hear others when they spoke about you. He heard them talking about how he had broken the Alpha's orders which is technically true. Their words coated his fur as he ran away into the woods.

Hyunjin had officially spent a month in the woods somewhere he hoped didn't belong to another pack. He had been careful to avoid traps set by humans. They always seemed to fall into two groups: the ones that were fascinated by his kind and wanted to be like them or the ones who would kill them without blinking.

They set traps and called it hunting like they were bush rats or deers.

He hadn't bothered to shift back for the past month. His wolf was more than pleased to roam freely and most times be in charge. Hyunjin was an emotional mess and in order to escape that, he had to give his wolf control.

He mind was still boggled when he mistakenly stepped on a trap that night. The cold metal clamped his front right leg and the spikes pierced him. His wolf growled. Both of them struggled to find a way to be free but he would have to shift back. That was not an option. Also, he wouldn't be at an advantage in his human form.

The sounds were distant at first, then it grew closer. The voices coupled with footsteps of men talking about hoping to kill a few that night. They hoped to be lucky and he just offered them a chance to jubilate until two boys appeared in front of him.

One of the boys was slim and had dancer legs. Even in the dark, he could recognize the stance of a dancer. His eyes glowed with gold ring around it. He was a werewolf. He smiled and brought his face closer to Hyunjin. "Don't worry. We will get you out of this in no time." He motioned towards the other boy who was shorter.
