Polar Opposites
9.
To think that people actually believe that opposites attract.
What a joke.

"If you so much as think that you can continue with your antics without me blowing up, you have no idea how wrong you are." She growled, eyes blazing with distaste lacing the arrows that her glare shot in his direction.
"What antics?" He smirked purposefully, clearing enjoying how he can pull at her strings so easily. His playful posture of leaning on just a leg with his arms crossed not only taunted Kiley but it was also pissing her off very much.
Very, very much.
Practice hadn't even gone past the first half hour and they were already arguing their heads off. Selections of partnership had yet to be decided for the lack of familiarity amongst the dancers, so they settled for simple trust exercises first.
Her first guess was that someone apparently loved her misery whereas his first thought was that it was going to be extremely hilarious.
Kiley was one for playing, sure, but when this 'game' had her almost falling and actually falling on her poor butt, it wasn't exactly fun. They had been at the trust fall countless times, for Kiley hadn't had the courage to fall back into his arms, especially with him faking the removal of safety every now and then.
"You do understand the meaning of a trust fall right?" She sighed, clearly frustrated with him and his jokes.
"I'm not a kid, of course I do." He scoffed, still holding that pose from before.
"Well you're really acting like a five year old right now! Quit it already!" She seethed. She wanted to get this over and done with because it was really getting on her nerves.
"But this is so amusing." He mused, a deep chuckle sounding from the back of his throat.
"I seriously doubt wasting 15 minutes on a trust fall for one person is amusing." She huffed, crossing her arms as well. Thank goodness they weren't partners; she'd never consent to it anyways. Their endless bickering could be heard across the practice room and if they were trying to keep it a secret, they were failing terribly.
"If the two of you are done arguing like two childish kids, I suggest you carry on with the exercise, " A deep voice resonating from a muscular man that now stood between the duo. His arms were crossed like theirs, except he had muscles rippling out from his arms and his white shirt clearly defining his toned body.
Mr Nash and Mr Edmund were, of course, not participating in this activity considering they could barely limbo decently. However, as self-appointed supervisors, they had called in Mr Nash's son, Jack, to help facilitate the choreography and practice sessions. After all, Jack did own this dance studio.
"I would do it if someone would stop playing tricks on me." Kiley defended, side glaring the accused person.
"Hey, its not my fault you can't let loose and simply fall back." Kai shrugged defiantly as he tried to keep his widespread grin from showing.
"Now then, why don't you demonstrate to us how its done, Kai?"
His face paled slightly as he was put on the spot. Clearing his throat to recover from his moment of shock, he scoffed and said, "Sure."
Kiley struggled to keep her laughter in as he now stood before her with his arms wide apart. She contemplated as to whether or not to catch this pain in the ass. Maybe? Maybe not?
