You Again
4.
"The chances of seeing you again were a million to one to me, yet here you are out of all places. And I still remember you."

"HEY YOU GUYS MADE IT!"
To say being at the house itself was deafening was an understatement. Clark was practically yelling as if Kiley and Jackson were standing at the other end of a football field. They may have been a little late because Jackson apparently made the wrong turn but the intensity of this party baffled them for it seemed impossible to attain over the amount of time they were late to this party.
"Yeah, cool party, man!" Jackson yelled back, before doing that half hug thing that Kiley never understood; it was a men thing, she guessed.
The party was beyond cool by the way Kiley saw it. Clark had a DJ playing songs with the best party beats and a refreshment table that actually looked safe; who knows what's been in the punch bowl at parties. There was even a pool out back and she could already spot some drunken girls ready to skinny dip.
It was awesome but like any other party, alcohol seemed to find its way down everybody's throats and truth be told, no one really remembers what happens at these parties unless you're the driver of the night and you have the privilege of staying sober and witnessing your friends make the biggest fools out of themselves.
"Kiley! You made it!" Allison screamed. As expected, Allison was donned in the perfect outfit for this party because it was sexy but it wasn't slutty. Kiley grinned and went over to meet her best friend half way for a hug, only to stop and glare at what she had in her hands.
"Did you go to the punch bowl again?" She frowned, taking the cup out of Allison's grasp which earned her a giggle. Allison tilted her head innocently and giggled again.
"Maybe?" She said, giggling to herself all over. Oh, if only she knew her crush was watching right now. Kiley cringed at how Allison stills believes that nothing could ever go wrong with the punch bowl and it wouldn't hurt to try, especially since this was Clark's party.
"Ugh, Al, I've told you many times, who knows what could be in there!" She chided, not before she turned to the host and apologized, "No offence."
"None taken, I never had the intention to go near my own punch bowl tonight anyways," He grinned, holding up his hands in mock surrender, "You know I've never really seen you at parties before."
Clark was what you may call the school's party king. He threw the craziest parties, this one included, and made sure everyone had the best time ever. His event planning skills were so great, he even went to parties just to critic on the host and it was an honour to others, not even an offense.
"Well..." Kiley trailed off as she tried to balance the now very tipsy Allison.
"I'm a unicorn and I can't fly! Wait that's not right..." She cheered as she swayed left and right.
"Yeah I know, Clark knows it all, remember," He said, winking in the couple's direction. "How about you leave Allison with me and you two go have a blast?" He suggested, trying to help balance Allison as well.
Kiley was hesitant about his suggestion and it was definitely not because he was player because she knew for a fact, Clark really wasn't one contrary to popular belief. Yet she knew what a drunken Allison could mean and she really wasn't ready to risk her pride for one night.
"Don't worry, I'm a saint." He chuckled, attempting to throw off whatever doubts Kiley had about his suggestion. "Okay not really a saint, but I promise I won't do anything to her alright?" He genuinely offered, taking Allison into his arms. Jackson wanted Kiley to relax and he needed to have her not spending the night worrying about her best friend.
