seven; don't judge me

"Luke," I spoke quietly after a while of us watching cartoons. "I miss him."

He sighed and turned off the TV. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"If I talk about it, I'll get depressed. If I don't, I'll get depressed." I croaked, refusing to cry again.

"Talk." He said finally.

"You promise you'll listen instead of just criticizing him like you always do?" I looked at him with hopeful eyes.

He looked down for a few seconds. "Okay. Fine. Whatever."

"Oh, and Luke?"

"Hmm?"

"Please don't judge me."
