sixty five;

•1 YEAR LATER•

"I have such weird jet lag." I complained to myself.

Florida seemed so weird now that I was visiting. It seemed like something I saw once in a dream, my mind a haze.

I yawned, looking at Niall sleeping in the hotel bed.

I looked at the clock. 10 AM.

The wedding was supposed to be in 2 hours.

And for me to get ready, it was going to take just that.

But the bed looked so comfy and warm.

"You know what?" I said out loud. "If I can't sleep, you can't torture me by sleeping so peacefully."

I nudged Niall to wake him up.

"No, stop, 5 more minutes." He mumbled.

"No, wake up, the wedding's in 2 hours."

"TWO HOURS?" He gasped. "Why'd you wake me up? So much time."

"No, two hours is very short."

"5 more minutes," he shooed my hand away.

"No, but-"

"Haven't you slept here? It's like heaven."

"No, I was too busy because you kept me awake."

"Right, well-"

"No," I pulled him up, and he was laughing.

"Stop!" I protested, laughing myself too. "You were awake this whole time?"

"Yep," he replied, popping the 'P'.

"Go put a goddamn shirt on." I pushed him into the bathroom, both of us still laughing.

I took out my outfit for the wedding when Alexis called me.

"WE'RE GETTING TO SEE EACH OTHER, ALL OF US, AGAIN!" She screamed, and I laughed.

"I KNOW RIGHT!" I screamed back.

"I can't believe they're getting married." She told me.

"Yeah, they're so cute." I answered. "Wait a second."

I quickly put on my outfit and grabbed the phone again. "Okay, you were saying?"

"We have to catch up. I mean, sure we've FaceTimed everyday but still."

"Yeah," I chuckled, "Really need to see everyone in person, yeah?"

"You should see how Mikey dyed his hair this time. So hot." She whispered. "Well, I gotta go, I'm getting ready."

"Ditto, see ya." I hung up, putting on heels and rummaging through the bags for my makeup.

"NIALL!" I shouted. "Where'd you put my makeup?"

"Why would I take it?" He yelled back.

"I CAN'T FIND IT!"

"Did you check your purse?"

"Oh." I took out my purse and found all my makeup. "Oops."

I put on mascara to curl up my eyelashes and light pink lipstick so it looked natural.

I didn't really need foundation because I never really got zits so I didn't put that on and realized there was nothing else to apply to my face.

I shrugged and took off my glasses, putting on my contacts and beginning to iron my hair afterwards.
