CHAPTER 2

A week later

Lisa walked out of the café, where she was working. She finally got her salary to pay her house rent. It was quite late after evening, but the street was already empty.

"Hey nerd" she heard someone calling from behind. She turned around and saw her bullys standing there.

"Where are you going at this late time?" Her bully, Irene asked walking closer, eyeing her from top to down.

"Probably going to pleasure some fuckboys in town" The guy beside her, Suho said putting a hand around Irene. Lisa silently stood there, looking down. Tears were brimming in her eyes. But she didn't had the courage to react.

"Please, let me go" she begged, crying.

"Not so soon, nerd." Joy snatched her handbag from her and started checking it, "Oh, I see. You are making many money as prostitute." She smirked taking all the money she had."But I will keep it safe. You don't have a nice house. I'm afraid someone will break into your house and stole all your money." She said with a sarcastic tone and was about to put all the money in her pocket.

Lisa grabbed her hand, stopping her, "Please don't take it. I worked hard to make it. I need money to pay my house rent. Please give me that back." She cried.

Joy was furious because Lisa held her hand. She quickly slapped Lisa on the cheek, "You bitch. How dare you touch me? Who do you think you are?" She asked grabbing her chin harshly, "And about giving you the money back, forget it. I don't care if you are thrown out of your house. But I need this money to go for shopping." She pushed Lisa away.

"Joy, that's enough. Let's go. We got what we wanted." Irene smirked and all of them left from there.

Lisa fell on her knees, crying. She hid her head between her hands and cried hardly. She don't know what to do. Her landlord will throw her out if she didn't paid the rent. Her bullys took away all the money she had.

Lisa went back to her house and saw the landlord in front of the house. Her face darkened at thought of not paying the rent. Lisa sighed and walked towards her.

"Lisa, where's the rent?" She asked folding her hands to her chest.

Lisa looked down, playing with her fingers, "Ms. Lee, I haven't got my salary, yet." She lied. She didn't want anyone to know about her sufferings.

"Ah.." she sighed angrily, "Lisa, you are testing my patience. I have already given you many days for paying the rent. Still you're not paying. So I think you need to leave."

"Ms. Lee, But I don't have any place to go." She cried begging.

"That's none of my concerns, Lisa. You better leave now." She shouted angrily.

"Ms. Lee, just let me stay here tonight. I will leave tomorrow morning. I promise." She begged. She had nowhere to go and also didn't had the money to stay at a hotel.

"Fine. But you should leave tomorrow morning itself." She said. Lisa nodded looking down.

"Thank you, Ms. Lee" Lisa thanked and the landlord left from there.

Lisa went inside, crying. She had no idea where to go. She took a shower and started packing her stuff. While packing, her eyes stuck on a photo beside her table. It was she and her mother. Lisa sat on the bed holding the photo.

"Mom, if you were here. I didn't have to go through all these. Why you left me?" Lisa put the photo on her chest, crying.

She remembered her past, her family. She born and lived in a happy small family. Her father works at the Kim companies. Her mother ran a little café. Little Lisa was loved and pampered in her family.
