CHAPTER 8

"The greatest blessing God gave me is you.."

It was a cold day. It was raining heavily outside. The atmosphere was so exotic.

Lisa woke up with a headache. She opened her eyes and looked around. She understood that it was not her room. She sat on the bed, that's when she noticed Taehyung sleeping beside her, holding her hand.

The things happened yesterday came into her mind.

She smiled widely with tears in her eyes, knowing that she is back to him, she is back to her true love.

She remembered each and every moment she spent with him. She remembered her past. Lisa caressed his soft silky hair, thinking about the pain he had gone through when he lost her.

Taehyung woke up when he felt someone caressing his hair. He opened his eyes and saw Lisa looking at him with a smile, "Lisa? Are you okay? Do you need something? I will go and get some water."

Taehyung stood up and was about to leave. But Lisa held his wrist, stopping him. He turned and looked at her. She stood up from the bed and threw her arms around his neck, hugging him. She had to tip-toe to match with his height.

Taehyung was confused. He didn't knew that she regained her memories, "Lisa, are yo-" before he could complete, she interrupted.

"I'm sorry." Lisa whispered, laying her head on his shoulders.

"Why are you sorry?" He still couldn't recognise what she was talking about.

"For forgetting you. For forgetting your love. For forgetting the most important person in my life." Lisa said with tears making a way out of her eyes.

Taehyung's eyes widened. He broke the hug and held her shoulders, "Wait. Do you..Do you remember everything?" He asked with tears in his eyes too.

"Yes. I remember everything. You, me, our love. I remember everything, Taehyung." She smiled through her tears.

With that, Taehyung wrapped his hands around her waist and lifted her up, crying on her shoulders. Lisa put her arms around his neck, not wanting to leave him again. They hugged each other so tightly that now nothing could break them apart.

They felt peace in each other's arms. Being immensely in love this what they wanted, holding each other till death separates them.

"I love you." Taehyung put her down and whispered, holding her head, making it stay close to his chest.

She smiled and whispered back, "I love you too. More than anything."

He broke the eyes and stared into her eyes, which was overflowing with love. Lisa stared back. They stood like that for a few minutes. Looking into each other's eyes and holding each other so close.

Soon Taehyung leaned in and captured Lisa's lips. Lisa kissed him back without waiting for a second. He poured all the pain he felt when they were separated and all the love he had for her. He sucked her lips slowly, taking his own time.

Taehyung and Lisa was so happy, getting each other back. Sounds cliche but what they felt for each other was impossible to express through words.

Currently, both of them were at the kitchen. Lisa was busy cooking. Taehyung was sitting on a chair opposite to her. His elbows were on the kitchen counter, supporting his face, in his hands. He was busy staring at her.

He looked at her with adoration. He watched all her moves, carefully. Lisa noticed him staring at her, "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked.

Taehyung smiled and walked towards her. He snaked his arms around her from behind, "I was wondering what I did to be so lucky to have you." He spoke.

Lisa chuckled at his reply and slightly hit his chest with her elbow. "Stop." She said.

"Seriously Lisa, I missed you a lot. You don't know the pain I felt without you." He spoke sincerely. She was touched by his words. She turned around and pecked his lips, "I promise that you'll never experience that pain once again." Lisa spoke.

"But, are you still going to China?" He asked.

"Yes, baby" Lisa nodded and turned back.

"I don't want you to go." He pouted and hugged her more tightly, placing his head on her shoulder.

"Tae, Its my wish to become a doctor. You know that clearly. So please let me go." Lisa spoke. Lisa badly wanted to be a doctor since childhood. And Taehyung knows that too. He treasured her dreams like his own.

"I understand, baby. I know you wish to be a doctor and I support you too. But it's still hard to live without you." Taehyung said.

"I will come back to you, Taehyung." She pecked his cheek, "Okay?" She turned her head and looked at him.

"Okay." Taehyung agreed sadly.

He didn't wanted Lisa to leave. After so many years of struggles he finally got his Lisa back. Now he was not ready to leave her. He wanted to stay with her always.

On the other hand, Lisa completely understood him. She knew that he has experienced a lot of pain in past these years. He got her back and he was not ready to stay away from her. Lisa too didn't wanted to go, but she really needs to pursue her dream.

The couple spend the rest of the day on the bed, under the blanket, cuddling deeply. Taehyung caressed her soft silky hairs while Lisa laid her head on his chest with her arms around him.

"Taehyung." Lisa called.

"Umh." He kissed her forehead indicating that he was listening.

"Do you know what happened to me that day after the accident? I clearly know that I didn't had any major injuries to lose my memory." Lisa asked. She wanted to know what happened to her.

Taehyung slowly nodded, "I know. My dad bribed the doctor to remove your memories." Taehyung explained.

"What? Is that even possible?" She asked. She wondered if it was possible to erase someone's memory.

"Yes. He used some drugs imported from abroad." He said.

"But why? Why does your dad wanted to erase my memory?" Lisa was confused.

"Because he hated you being in an relationship with me. And he wanted you to leave me." He told her everything. Lisa looked at him not wanting to believe what he said. Taehyung's dad was so sweet towards Lisa. Then why should he do that? Lisa thought.

"I know you have suffered a lot because of me. I'm sorry, baby." He hugged her tightly.

Lisa didn't reacted. Her mind was somewhere else. She was lost. Her mind was completely blank. She dug her face in his chest, crying...
