CHAPTER 5

1 month later

It was night time. Lisa had finished her evening shift at the café and was ready to go to the Kim Mansion. She had got her first salary.

For her misfortune, she met her bullys Joy, Irene, Suho and Kai. Cursing her fate, she sought to slip by unnoticing.

She was, however, unlucky. They noticed her and approached her, "Hey nerd, Long time to see."

Lisa lowered her head. She had no energy left to argue with them. She also was in a hurry. She need to reach the Kim Mansion before Taehyung comes.

She avoided them and tried to walk away. But Irene gripped her hand tightly, "Where are you going, bitch? How dare you ignore us?" She slapped Lisa hard on the face. Her cheeks became red and her lips start to bleed.

"Please, leave me alone. Let me go. I am in a rush." In a tired voice, she begged. She skipped her lunch, which made her body weak, and she is working long hours from dawn till dusk. It was too much for her fragile body to bear.

"Do you think we will leave you? We have gotten you alone after so many days." Joy smirked. Lisa looked around. The place was indeed deserted.

"Please..." she begged again, tears welling up in her eyes. She was weak mentally and physically too. She was tired of fighting alone with no one to back her up.

Irene smirked and pulled her hair, "Ahh.." Lisa cried in pain. "Are you hurt, bitch? I'm sorry." She dramatically said and threw Lisa to the ground. Her head collided with the road, causing her forehead to bleed.

"Ahh.." Lisa cried and placed a hand on the wound, attempting to stand up. Her head began to spin, shortly after. She collapsed.

She overheard a man scolding someone, as well as cries of someone. She couldn't even open her eyes to look at the man, she lacked the energy to do so. She passed out.

Taehyung finished his work earlier than ​expected. He decided to go back to the mansion. He walked towards the car. The driver was on leave, so he had to drive it by himself.

While driving, he glanced out of the car. Suddenly, his eyes stuck on something. He saw a few of people, kicking and beating someone. He quickly stopped the car and ran towards there.

When they noticed someone approaching, they stopped kicking and turned around to face them.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked and pushed them away.

Looking at the person, lying on ground, he understood that it was a girl. He knelt alongside and wrapped his arms around her.

When he looked at the girl in his arms, his face clouded. "Lisa?" He mumbled and looked at her with worried eyes. "Lisa, wake up." He tapped on her cheek in an attempt to rouse her.

"Who are you?" He heard someone asking from behind. He felt a surge of anger, rushing through his veins. He gently placed her on the ground and turned around to face them.

"What did you do to her?" He asked with a blank expression on his face. His voice was sharp and eyes were frigid.

"None of your concerns." Joy answered, ignoring him.

"It is. She is my concern." He became enraged and yelled at them.

"Who is she to you?" Irene asked, smirking.

"She is my girlfriend." He yelled.

Their eyes widened, "So you are her new new fvckboy, right?" Suho asked. The other three laughed, mocking Taehyung.

His fists clenched in anger.

"We all know she's a slut. But we didn't know that she could catch a wealthy man like you." Kai commented making the situation worse. Taehyung's anger was how uncontrollable. He could hear someone bad mouth about him. But for Lisa; he despised it when someone disparaged her.

Taehyung smacked Kai across the face with a strong punch on his eye. "Ahh" Kai collapsed to the ground, crying.

"How dare you?" Suho stepped in to punch Taehyung. But he dodged the attack and retaliated with a punch of his own.

Irene and Joy were frightened to see both of their friend, lying on the ground.

"Never dare to touch or badmouth about Lisa." He warned. "Never."

He walked towards Lisa and carried her in his arms, heading towards the car.

He carefully placed her on the car seat. He glared at four of them and walked towards the driving seat, adjusting his suit.

Taehyung carried Lisa inside the house, to her room. He carefully placed her on the bed.

"Lisa.." he slowly called her. His heart ached to see her like this. He missed the old cheerful Lisa.

He sighed remembering the past. He got up from beside the bed and walked near the cupboard to get the first-aid kit.

Taehyung began to treat her wounds. Lisa winced in pain. He stopped and looked at her to make sure she was still sleeping.

It was late when he finished treating her wounds, he asked the maid to change her dress and make sure that she is fine.

Taehyung climbed up, to his bedroom and made a quick call to his manager friend, Mark.

"Hello." He said as soon as the call is connected.

"Hello." Mark said in a sleepy tone.

"Were you sleeping?" Taehyung asked.

"No, I am watching my ceiling. It is so beautiful. I think I'm in love." Mark sarcastically said. Being his childhood friend, Mark only had the permission to joke with Taehyung. "What do you expect me to do at 2:00 in the morning, Kim Taehyung???!!" He yelled.

"Ahh..Stop screaming. I will become deaf because of you." Taehyung said placing a hand on his ear.

"You deserved it. By the way, why you called me now?" Mark asked, yawning.

"Find informations more information about Lisa and her college and friends" Taehyung spoke.

"Why?" Mark asked, half asleep.

"Mark.." Taehyung called him as he was warning him.

"Okay. I understood. I will find it. Now go and sleep." He said and hung up.

Taehyung sighed and placed the phone on his pocket. He walked towards Lisa's room to check on her.

Seeing her sleeping so peacefully made him smile. He sat on the chair beside and caressed her hair.

"Get well soon, love.." he placed a long kiss on her forehead. Soon he too fell asleep.
