CHAPTER 14

They returned back to his mansion after spending some days at the farmhouse. Lisa was so happy after spending some quality time with Taehyung.

But, Lisa was not really feeling well for the past few days. She always felt dizzy and nauseous. Taehyung noticed it and enquired her if she was okay. She shrugged it off by saying that she was okay.

Taehyung was sitting on the couch, reading newspaper. Lisa came and sat beside him.

"Tae.." she called.

"Hmm.." he replied, keeping the newspaper aside.

"Jisoo unnie is in Korea right now. Can I go and meet her?" She asked. After graduation she haven't seen any of her college mates.

"Of course you can go." He smiled and allowed her. "I will drop you there."

"Thank you, Tae." She kissed his cheek and went upstairs to get ready.

Taehyung dropped her at the café and went for work. Lisa and Jisoo talked a lot and hanged out and done some shoppings too.

After sometime Jisoo left, while Lisa was waiting for Taehyung. He told her that he will come to pick her up.

Soon Taehyung came. He got out of the car. Lisa was standing on the opposite side of the road. She was crossing the road to reach to him, but she failed to notice a car speedily coming towards her.

Taehyung noticed it and his face turned dark, "Lisa!!!" He quickly ran and wrapped his arms around her and pushed her away from the road.

Luckily, the car didn't hit them. It sped off without even checking what happened.

"Ahh!!" Lisa screamed when she was suddenly pushed and fell.

"Lisa, are you okay?" Taehyung looked at her, in his arms. He saw her lying fainted.

"Lisa.." He tapped her cheek to wake her up. Not having any response from her, he carried her and walked towards his car. He quickly drove to the hospital nearby.

The doctor took her to the emergency room, while Taehyung anxiously waited outside.

Hiding his face in his hands, he sat in front of the room, stressed.

Soon the hospital door opened. He saw the doctor coming out. He quickly stood up from the chair and went to him, "Doctor, how's her? Is she okay?" He asked.

"There's is nothing to worry, Mr. Kim. She's completely fine. You can go and see her if you want." Taehyung sighed in relief, hearing his words.

"Thank you, doctor. Thank you so much." He thanked the doctor.

"And there's one more thing" Doctor spoke, making Taehyung worried again. "Congratulations Mr.Kim. She is three weeks pregnant. You're going to become a father." The doctor smiled widely and left from there.

Taehyung froze. He stood there processing what the doctor just said. He felt like the whole world paused. He took some time to digest what the doctor just said.

He smiled widely, when he came back to his senses. "My baby is pregnant?" He asked to himself with tears in his eyes. He rushed to the room and saw Lisa slowly waking up.

"Lisa.." He went and hugged her tightly.

"Are you okay?" He asked checking her.

"Yes. I am." She nodded and sat straightly, "Why are you smiling?" Lisa asked when she saw him standing beside her with a wide smile.

Taehyung leaned in to whisper in her ears, "We are going to become parents, love." He kissed her earlobe and leaned back.

"What?" Lisa was shocked. She looked at him with confused eyes, "Am I- pre-pregnant?" She asked not believing what he just said.

"Yes, baby. You are pregnant." He smiled and placed a hand on her tummy, "There is a little baby laying inside here." He said.

Lisa teared up. She felt overwhelmed. "I'm so happy, baby. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive." Taehyung hugged her tightly, nuzzling his face in her neck.

Lisa hugged him back, tightly. The feeling of being a mother was overwhelming.

"What the heck? Can't you even do your job properly? I paid you to kill her." Jennie angrily shouted at the man before her.

She sent him to kill Lisa. But it failed and she was furious.

"You are just useless, you bastard." Jennie angrily threw the things on her table.

"I-Iam s-sorry, ma'am" The man apologized. He was scared of her.

"I don't need your sorry. I gave you a job and you can't do it? Then why the hell am I paying you salary?" She angrily slammed her hand on the table.

"And Lisa, I wont leave you. I will kill you. Count your days." Jennie angrily spoke to herself.

After the check up, Taehyung and Lisa headed back home. She was tired and went to bed early.

Taehyung went to his office room. He had some doubts.

There was something suspicious about the incident. The driver left without even checking what happened. Taehyung felt like it was planned.

He took his phone and called his assistant, Mark.

"Mark, I need you to find the information about the car which came to hit Lisa." He narrated the while incident and gave him a task.

"Why? Is everything alright?" Mark asked.

"No, I feel like something is fishy about it. Find the car and its owner." Taehyung instructed.

"Okay, I will find it by tomorrow."

"Thank you." He hung up the call and walked to his bedroom.

He smiled when he saw Lisa sleeping peacefully. He walked towards her and sat beside.

Taehyung watched her face and his gaze glided down to her stomach, where their little baby was sleeping.

He leaned in and placed a hand on her stomach, "Hey baby, Its your appa speaking. How are you there? I hope you are doing well. Come out soon. I can't wait to hold you in my arms, my little one." He kissed her stomach and looked at Lisa's sleeping face, "And don't trouble your mamma too much, okay? She had endured a lot. She is too pure to get hurted." He leaned in and gave a kiss on her forehead too. "Sleep well, my babies." Taehyung said and went inside the blanket, sleeping peacefully holding his life in his arms.
