CHAPTER 16

"Ms. Jennie is completely fine. She has a small head injury and bruises. We have treated it and it will fade soon. She's awake now. You can go and see her." The doctor said and left the hall.

Lisa walked to the room, followed by Taehyung. When she opened the door, she saw Jennie sitting on the bed, looking down. Her forehead was covered with bandages.

"Jennie." Lisa said walking towards Jennie.

Jennie raised her head to look at her. When she saw Taehyung and Lisa coming towards her, she hung her head down, biting her lips.

"Jennie, are you alright?" Lisa softly asked, holding Jennie's hand.

Jennie broke into tears and hugged Lisa. Lisa comforted Jennie, who was crying on your shoulder.

"Lisa, I've hurted you a lot. I even tried to kill you because of my selfishness." Jennie said between her sobs, "But you still saved my life. Thank you so much, Lisa." She cried while Lisa rubbed her back.

"I know after all the things I have done, I don't deserve your forgiveness. But, Lisa please forgive me. I know I'm selfish and it was so cruel of me to try to kill you. I'm really sorry." Jennie felt extremely guilty for judging and hating Lisa. If it was not because of Lisa's kindness, she will not be alive now.

Lisa smiled. She was happy that Jennie realised her mistake and apologized, "Its okay Jennie. Everyone deserves a second chance. So I forgave you. And I understand your mentality. I understand how much you have hurted because of me. I am sorry too." Lisa said sincerely. Taehyung was standing aside witnessing everything. He was happy because Jennie apologised and she will never be a hurdle in his and Lisa's life.

"You don't have to apologise to me. I can't believe that I hated an angel." Jennie felt guiltier when she heard Lisa's words. Lisa chuckled and smiled warmly.

Jennie turned her head towards Taehyung. "And Tae, I'm really sorry for trying to snatch away Lisa from you. I won't be a hurdle in your life anymore. And I'm sorry for irritating and disturbing you for all of these years." She said wiping a tear which had just fallen from her eyes.

"Its okay, Jennie. I forgave you." He smiled, feeling relieved that everything ended on a good term.
