"Oh! I forgot to drink water." As I get closer to my new school, I start to become thirsty, and the adrenaline from the thought of being late on my first day starts to fade. I finger combed my hair in an attempt to straighten it out, since it was becoming tangled due to the wind. "Does my hair seem okay?" I stopped walking when I reached my destination. I roamed my eyes around my new school taking in that I'm finally in high school. "So, this is Karasuno." You can see how this school differs from that school. "This has got to be worth it." I entered the building and began looking for my class.

It's not difficult to find my classroom, which I appreciate. I've noticed that the majority of my classmates have already formed their groups, and I'm envious of them. I'm hoping to make a friend soon. My phone vibrated in my pocket, signaling a notification. "Nii-chan?" What is it that he wants now? He sent me a message with a smirking emoji that said, "Good luck." I answered with an unamused emoji before adding, with a smirking emoji, "I hope Toshi's spike went to your face." 'I hope you're still able to play volleyball.' With another smirking emoji, he responded. "This motherf-" My teacher interrupted my swearing to inform that we were about to begin class.

After a few hours of lectures and repressing my thirst, it's finally time for lunch. I abruptly stood up and raced through the door to grab that water, not wanting to waste any more time. I got lost a few times before locating a vending machine because I'm still not accustomed to this place. My legs are also trembling as I wonder why I'm so out of breath. My last training was only a few months ago, and I'm still not permitted to exercise for another few months. 'First, let's grab that big water.'

I heard squeaking and banging noises coming from the building next to me while I was grabbing my water from the vending machine. 'Is that...?' After getting my drink, I headed in the direction of the commotion. "Rolling..." Rolling? "Thunder!" Thunder? I peered inside the building, which turned out to be a gym, and witnessed this short person receiving a volleyball perfectly. 'Wow! He's really cool.' I had a feeling it was Volleyball. I had a strong desire to play, but I realized my situation. I also recall where I am and the fact that a ball is heading right towards me. "It's not too late to rec-" I was about to stoop into a receiving stance when a hand beat me to it. "You shouldn't be peeking..." I shifted my attention to the voice. "Shorty."
