It's another day of sleep deprivation for me. Last night, I couldn't get enough sleep because the manhwa I was reading was full of cliffhangers. As a result, I had to read each and every chapter. I planned to rest on the window side of the hall in case I passed out, but as soon as I saw the gym, I instantly regretted it. 'Oh no,' In my mind, flashes of memories from that embarrassing day that I'd been suppressing appear. "Embarrassment be gone!" I swatted the imaginary cloud of shame away and turned my head in the opposite direction, hoping to forget about it.

'Let's just think of something else.' I convinced myself. "Oh, that's right! clubs." I remembered. 'Should I try gardening?' No. Do you remember how you ruined Grandma's garden? 'Art club?' Without a doubt, no. 'Oh! What about joining a literature club?' A no, as well. Either I doze off or... I daydream (about Volleyball). 'O other sports?' No, not basketball. Soccer, no either . Tennis is also not an option. Physically can't play and can't play other sports than Volleyball. "Why am I such a volleyball nerd?" In defeat, I groaned.

"You play Volleyball?" A voice from the side of me asked. "Played. Not anymore ." I responded. They appear to be seniors. "Wanna play some more?" said the dark brown-haired girl. "Don't you think you should introduce yourself first, Yui?" The taller girl next to her inquired. "Ah, that's right! Sorry." She apologized. "My name is Michimiya Yui, and I'm in class 3-1." She didn't give me a chance to identify myself before saying "So, you want to play volleyball once more? I'm the captain of the volleyball club for girls." On her right, a shorter girl placed a hand on her shoulder, as if restraining her. "My name is Chizuru Sasaki. Her name is Mao Aihara." She introduced them both. "I'm sorry about her. She's just in desperate need of recruits." She apologized on Michimiya senpai's behalf. She asked, "What is your name?" I answered. "I'm Y/n, and I'm in class 1–5."

"Y/n? that sounds familiaaaa-" Michimiya pondered. "Wait!" She was ecstatic. "You're the volleyball prodigy, Y/n." I sweat dropped as her outburst drew more attention. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be in Shiratorizawa." She asked. "Do I have to answer that?" I asked the other senpais with reluctance. "You don't have to. Just answer her first question." What's the first question again? She asked so many questions that I can't recall what it was. 'Right! 'Would I want to play volleyball again?' " I'd want to play volleyball once more." Michimiya senpai seemed delighted when I stated this. "But?" Chizuru senpai had questioned. "However, I am no longer able to play. I'm sorry."

"Oh, that's all right. In any case, it's my fault for expecting. But..." Is she about to break down? Chizuru senpai and Mao senpai appear to be holding back their laughter. "Gosh! I can't believe I'm looking at a volleyball prodigy." She was gushing.

Somewhere down the corridor

A tall blond-haired boy leaning against the wall appears to be listening in. "I'm only one of them, and not the most well-known." Y/n, humbly said. "What do you mean?" Michimiya Yui let out a gasp. "You're unique among your peers because you-"
