"Aya!" Chizuru-senpai attempted to receive the ball but was unsuccessful in passing it on to the others. "Get it, Yui." The ball was received by Moa-senpai, who passed it to Yui-senpai, however the ball went out. "Okay! Nice judge." The opposing team celebrated. All of the senpais seemed exhausted and dejected. Karasuno – 9, Shirato Girls – 18.

"You know, there's always a way if you want something." Tsukishima-kun spoke. We were heading home in silence after becoming bored while watching the kids play volleyball. When he stated that, I was both shocked and perplexed. 'What exactly does he mean?'

The sound of a smack jolts me back into reality. It was Yui-senpai. Good, she's not losing hope. As the Shirato Girls were about to serve, both teams got ready. "Serve well!" The ball was served by Player No. 1 to Aya-senpai, but she tumbled and, as before, failed to pass it on to her teammates. "Don't worry about it. That was a good attempt." Aya-senpai was offered a helping hand by Yui-senpai. "You could have gotten it back." Aya-senpai mumbled. "'m sorry. I've made a lot of mistakes." She apologized. "Reflect after the match," Yui-senpai remarked, softly slapping both of her palms on Aya-senpai's cheeks "Stand up," She said. "It's not yet over."

"Senpai, is there still a spot available in the girls' volleyball club?" I asked Yui-senpai. "Y/n!" She was taken aback by my sudden visit. "Wait. Did you ask about the available spot in our club?" I gave a nod. "Yes! Yes, of course." As she stated it, I could see stars in her eyes. "Are you planning on joining us?" She questioned excitedly. "Yes." She cheered, but I wasn't done yet. "Senpai, I'm joining, but I'm not going to play."

The other members' spirits will rise if the captain's spirit remains high. The Karasuno girls matched their tenacity with their leader's as she refused to give up and became more determined. 'It's not over yet.' "Left!" Manami-senpai tossed the ball to Mao-senpai when she called. She scored a point by spiking the ball past the other team's block. A single point can alter the game's pace.

"Teach us!" Yui-senpai, Aya-senpai, and Mao-senpai exclaimed. "I can teach you what I know, but I doubt it would help much because we don't have much time until the competition." I expressed my concern. "Whatever it is, as long as it will help us improve a little bit before the competition, it will be of great use to us." Yui-senpai expressed her assurance.

"Hey, don't cry" As soon as we exited the gym, Aya-senpai began crying. "Well, they were after my serve. And they earned lots of points." Aya-senpai began to cry. "However, volleyball is all about rallies. That was something they excelled at. That is why we got lost. No one is to blame." Yui-senpai reassured her. "She's right." They turned their attention to me. "You didn't win because you weren't good enough. However, you guys fought. You all gave it your everything and didn't give up until the very last moment. That's the most important thing." I continued. 'It wasn't enough,' Then go ahead and practice. 'I made a mistake.' Then use what you've learned. You fell a lot, but you always got back up because you knew you could do it. And that's enough." I smiled, but when they began to cry, I became concerned.

"Captain. The teacher's calling you." Manami-senpai said. Captain got up and walked over to where sensei was. As their eyes followed their captain, I sensed my senpais' concern. "Michimiya-senpai is amazing." Manami-senpai expressed. "She was the one who practiced the most. She must be the one who is the most disappointed." Yui-senpai specifically requested my help in order to enhance her skills. When she wanted to train more, I always stayed up with her. I saw her determination and passion for Volleyball, it was admirable. "You're mistaken." Mao-senpai, on the other hand, disagreed. "She maintains her composure because she is our captain." She elaborated. "Once she's alone and her back are turned..." Even though she didn't say it, I know what she meant. It's something I've seen before. Yui-senpai is just like her.
