💘up on the hill(Duck x Oliver)

Oliver woke up to the birds chirping a nice tune. He thought it was going to be a normal day but then the Fat Controller came in and told Oliver that he could take a day off, of course, Oliver didn't mind at all. Especially he had been a bit stressed out from all of the work he had recieved.

Oliver was walking down Duck's branchline because Duck has recommended him to chuff down to if he has nothing else to do, "maybe...we can ask others for sugestions, Mr.Oliver!" Toad said, Oliver was just about to reply but suddenly Duck came up beside him, "Oliver? What are you doing on my branchline?" Duck said, Oliver felt an urge to ask something to his crush, yes, Oliver has been crushing on him for a long time, now.

"i was just enjoying my day off but i can't!" Oliver replied with a dissapointed tone, even Duck felt it, "uh, do you have any sugestions on what should i do?" Oliver said, while spacing out and looked at the breath-taking view of Duck's branchline. So Duck wasn't lying when he said it's very pretty, huh?

"i have a place where we can spend some time together," Duck said and chuffed down a bit fater, "follow me!" Oliver just went on with what he is saying and followed him. It has been a few minutes and Toad began to wonder about the place, "so, what does the place look like?" Toad said, breaking the silence. This also broke Oliver thoughts on daydreaming, and yes, it was about Duck.

"it's a secret, Toad! You just have to be patience about it." Duck explained and continued on, suddenly it snapped out of Duck's mind "oh yeah, it's a few more miles away from here if i can remember!" And so, they suddenly entered a big meadow. It was very breath-taking to see as it was something from a romance or fanatsy movie, but fortunately, it's in real life!

they see so many cows and sheeps in the field, and many flowers aswell. Oh, the wind that made the flower move swiftly is so beautiful to watch, even Toad approve!

"Wow! It's so...beautiful." Oliver explained to Duck as he watched a butterfly pass through him, "indeed!" Added Toad. Duck just giggled, "oh, that isn't the destination! This is just the place where it's located at." and so, they approached a hill, and so, Oliver had the biggest urge to tell about his feelings to Duck, "well, isn't this very beautiful, am'i ri-" Duck showed off on how beautiful the scenery is, but then Oliver kissed him on the cheek. It was so sudden but they both blushed.

There was an akward silenece but Oliver had enouvh courage to tell about his feelings to him, "Duck, i...i love you! It took me a while to tell you this, but, i love you!" Oliver explained, and then Duck then kissed him in the cheek aswell, "i love you too Duck" Duck replied back. Toad was just amazed about it.

Everything was just perfect, a lovely new couple on top of a lovely hill on Sodor is just a beautiful moment to them.

"everything is perfect, don't you think?"

"yes it is, bean!"
