💔Have You Seen Him?(Thomas x James)

James locked the door to his shed as he's carrying posters of a missing engine. It's been about a week now, and it made James anxious and worried about his friend.

The friend that he'a searching for was Thomas. He's one of the many transpumans in the world, specifically a train type of transpumans.

James missed Thomas dearly. He was like a little brother to him, and that he'd be the older brother, who's typically annoying. Annoying, but has a big heart for his loved ones.

As of right now, before going to work, James puts up a few missing person-or transpumans posters at Knapford station. Since his first job was to deliver a passenger train, he thought that he could take advantage of this and make his drivers put up missing transpumans posters in the stations.

As he transformed into his train form and waiting for his coaches, James can't help but think of how much Thomas would tease him and Gordon for being lazy. It felt a lot quieter, which James liked, but it felt weird when there is no Thomas to fetch it for him.

He remembered the hours before Thomas went missing.

He was going further than the Mainland to pick something up. He forgot what it was, but it was very important, and Thomas was the only one available.

He remembered taking a break and hearing Thomas' converstaion with Percy.

"You're going deeper into the Mainland?" Percy asked as he raised an eyebrow. The green little fellow was happy, yet worried for his friend.

"Yeah. I can't wait to explore! Plus, i'll make Sir Topham Hatt proud as well!"

Those were the last words he remembered from the blue tank engine.

Then, James thinked of something. Maybe he'll go into the Mainland at night when everyone is asleep.

Nightfall came and the Island was fast asleep. James sneaked out of his shed and chuffed along the paths into the Mainland. His eyes has dark circles underneath, but he didn't mind. He needs to find Thomas and bring him home.

As he passes through the beach, James can't help but think to himself that this place reminds him of a dear blue tank engine. He helped build this railway. He helped the people building the railway to his loss.

He remembers the first time he came to the Mainland. It felt like the place was lively and full of life. He remembered when Thomas introduced him to this part of the world.

James kept on puffing and chuffing until he heard a noise coming somewhere.

He turned into his human form. He was carrying a lantern to make his surroundings clear.

Help...

He heard someone called out, making him turn back in a shot.

Help...!

James began to panic, but he also tried his hardest to stay calm, "Who's there...?"

Thomas... It's... Thomas...

Thomas? You mean Thomas the cheeky blue tank engine?! He looked around and walked slowly, his body moving side to side.

Then, he stepped at what it felt like a hand. He looked down and saw dirty, and rough hands.

He looked down to find Thomas. His face, it was dirty and messy. His cheek has a big bruise on it, and one of his eyes has a dark circle on it. His clothes were shattered and ripped away, resulting it in leaving Thomas cold for a week. And he looks skinny due to the lack of food.

James squatted down. "Thomas..?" James softly asked. The size of his pupils reduced, and on the edge of his eyes water started to bleed out.

"James...?" Thomas asked, looking up at the figure he thought he forgot. "What happened to you?" There was an awkwars pause as Thomas was thinking of an answer. "I got lost on the way back. There was a bear attack, so my drivers went away to find help. But i guess they didn't... Or i guess they did, but you guys have no clue where to find me..."

James sighed, in relief and in suprise. "You know, this is why you should go full speed." Thomas could only chuckle in response, "I had no more coal- COUGH COUGH." Thomas' words wrre cut with a cough.

"We need to get you back." James stated before he picked up Thomas bridal style.

"Where are we headed?"

"To Sodor, dummy."

Thomas and James were now back in Sodor. It was dawn, and some people were awake. Like everyone at Tidmouth Shed.

"Thomas?!" Everyone called out in suprise. The cheeky blue engine was found at last!

"Yes..." He replied, "It's me."

"How... How did you survive?" Gordon asked, "Especially with no one around." Henry added. "Looks like you need to go to the Steamworks, Thomas. You need to patch yourself up before you can become really useful." Emily chimed in as well.

"Yeah, maybe i should..."

"Thomas!" Percy shouted as he got back from delivering the mail, "Where have you've been?! Oh, i was so worried about you!" He came up to Thomas and hugged him.

James sighs happily, looks like all there's left to do is to keep an eye on Thomas until he gets better.
