Shouldn't have happened pt. 1 🚘

Note: Everything with robby, tournament, and the two dojos joining together is still in place. The only thing changed in this setting is Daniel is divorced and already dating johnny.

Today, it was a stressful day for training. Some kids were sick, so they had to take a break from training. It sucks because Daniel had new lessons for the kids to learn, but if half of the students are sick would it be good to still teach the lesson?

He figured they would just go back to what they learned last time as he puts on padding gear. As johnny just wanted the kids to relax a bit since there's only a little bit of kids.

"Come on! The kids are bored as they deserve a break"

   Daniel thought they should still keep in mind that the tournament is weeks away before telling johnny throw his first move. Johnny didn't like the tone daniel gave off, he knows something is bothering him. Johnny doing the crane kick as a joke was the straw that broke the camel's back. Daniel threw down the glove gears and stormed off inside the dojo.

         
          The kids were confused as sam was going to go see what's wrong, but johnny reassures her and the others that everything is okay. He goes inside and closes the door before seeing daniel on the bench with his head hanging low.

"Hey. Wanna tell me what that was about?"

No answer or movement. He kneels down in front of daniel asking what's wrong. They ended up arguing about how daniel is saying nothing's wrong but something is until daniel snapped.

"I'm still disappointed at the fact that we left robby in the hands of a crazy vet and him!!!" 

"Who's him?" The blonde asked.

"Terry!" Daniel responded back as he finally told johnny about what happened after he came back from his trip. Johnny doesn't know terry, but he knows the man is a psycho as he belongs with kreese.

"We made a bet with the damn tournament and left robby, johnny. We left him when he needed us the most!! When he needed a parent who was going to be there for him and we failed...."

     It hurt johnny hearing daniel say that, but he knows it's true and he hasn't been the dad robby needed. Seeing how robby is almost an adult, it would be too late to rekindle their relationship.

"You don't think that hurts me to know my son is in the hands of a man who almost killed me?"

"Instead of leaving him, we should've took him with us somehow"

It was an ugly argument from that point on that daniel got his keys and left. Shocking. Considering how it was johnny who would be the one fast enough to leave a situation, but in this case it was Daniel. He was pretty fast as hot tears rolled down his face.

He made the window go down to get some air while driving 70 miles. There weren't much cars to worry about or so that's what daniel thought. He was driving around most of the afternoon, and then he got on the freeway to further clear his mind.

He grew very annoyed when he gets into traffic. Although, he wasn't going to wait, making his way to get off to an exit. Only a fast truck was coming and hit his car before he made it as the car flipped 6 times before stopping.
