Who would've thought [Lawrusso]

Prom

    Daniel had came to Mr. Miyagi's place after his little incident with Ali. He ended up doing chores then meditating before he decided to leave a little early telling goodbye to Mr. Miyagi in his car. He went for a milkshake in a diner as he wasn't ready to go home yet and tell his embarrassment to his mom. He was drinking his milkshake and licking the whip cream while listening to music before he hears a door opening. Johnny Lawrence just happened to sit two seats away from him at the front booth. He looks to his left as Johnny ordered his hamburger special with milkshake before seeing Daniel.

    "Never thought I'd see you here Larusso. I thought you would be having fun with Ali" Johnny says while playing with a toothpick as Daniel stir his drink.

He sighs and told him what happened as Johnny told him, "That sucks. All in the same day where every senior is supposed to have fun" Daniel nodded in an agreement before asking, "Why are you at prom?"

    "My date balled on me the last minute.....I guess I got this suit for nothing" Johnny says as Daniel couldn't help but notice how good Johnny looked in a suit as it was giving him a weird feeling below seeing how Johnny's hair is slicked back.

      Daniel had an idea telling him how it's still early as they can go to prom together. Johnny gave him a confused look before he clarified that they can go as friends. Johnny laughed telling him, "As if anyone is going to believe that" Daniel sips that last of his milkshake before looking at him.

    "We don't have to explain to anyone then and just have a great time" Daniel says as Johnny looks at him, "Alright but I'm not going if you're coming in that suit" he bursted out laughing as Daniel came to his side slightly punching his arm.

"Hey! What's wrong with my suit?" He says as Johnny tries to calm himself down telling him, "You look like you're going to prom with a close relative as your date" he laughed again before Daniel told him how he needs to change anyways since he's dirty from the chores he did earlier.

  They went to Daniel's house as his mother was away at work as she left a note of how she'll be home very late. He showered then changed into a different suit and fixed his hair. Johnny told him how he looks much better as they decided to go in Johnny's car and went to prom. Some students were shocked to see him and Johnny coming out the same car as tommy and bobby walks up to them asking where are their dates.

   Daniel stammered a little before Johnny shrugged saying how they're going together and want to have a good time. Daniel gave him a slightly confused look after hearing "together" but brushes it off. Bobby told them how dutch got kicked out for trying to bring in liquor to the prom as Johnny shakes his head. Tommy crosses his arms asking out of curiosity, "So you guys are cool?" They look at each other before saying yes and they all go inside. It was packed as the air felt very humidity as they ain't surprised since it's in a gym with many seniors.

    They dance, drink, and try to have a good time while it lasted. Once the slow music was on and couples started slow dancing, Johnny and Daniel walked to the end of the bleachers by the exit door to catch their breath from dancing.

Johnny jokes around saying, "Does the fair maiden want a dance?" He laughed from Daniel's reaction as they sit down watching the couples slow dance. Johnny thanks Daniel for suggesting they go to prom as he had fun.

   "See? We had fun right?" Daniel asked as Johnny nodded before looking at him and said how they can do one slow dance before leaving. Before Daniel said anything, Johnny gets up holding his hand out before Daniel grabs it. They lean more under the bleachers a little and come closer as they look at each other. They slowly dance and Johnny tells Daniel he's sorry if he steps on his foot while he said he should be fine.

   Once prom was over, Johnny drove Daniel back home as he thanks Daniel again. They told each other how they had a great time before Johnny suggested how he might come by to see him at Mr. Miyagi's for a sparring match.

  "As if you'll win" Daniel smirked as Johnny chuckled, "I might....just don't crane kick me in the face" they both laughed.

             "I can't keep that promise that I won't"
