Who would've thought [Lawrusso]

First date

  Daniel larusso was a busy man. He doesn't exactly enjoy it, but he does like to help others. Ever since Johnny and robby moved in, he noticed how daniel has a routine that he does everyday. He doesn't know how he can keep up with the amount of work he does and coming home tired.

     While his boyfriend was at work, he decided to plan a date since it was his day off and figured daniel deserves a little break from work. The thing is what should be there date or what plans he can think of for their date. It's been so long and the last date he had was with carmen.

   He spent all morning figuring out the perfect date and want to impress daniel. Sam seen johnny with a notepad and pen at the kitchen table, "Hey johnny! What are you doing?"

He wasn't sure to tell her since it's supposed to be a surprise but she could help him since she is daniel's daughter. He lets her in of what he's doing and she smiled offering to help. She gave johnny tips of what he can or cannot to do on a date as he takes note of it.

"How about you take my dad to a place you two know and would have a great time"

"Do you think it would work?" Johnny asked as his biting his lower lip from being a little nervous for this date.

"I do know that you don't have to impress my dad with fancy stuff. He'll be pleased but he's not that type of person you can impress by showing off."

   He knew she was right as daniel knew what it was like to not have luxurious things and now that he has money, he still doesn't like to show off or be impressed by the fancy things. Johnny looks at his notes then sighs putting the pen down trying to remember a place they know and could have fun.

      It was the late afternoon, johnny came in his car and honked the horn twice to get daniel's attention. He was talking to a customer until he seen johnny by his car as he finishes to talk to them. He walks outside approaching to johnny as he smiled, "What's this?"

"Here. There's are for you" John says while giving daniel some flowers. He thanks johnny while taking them as he's surprised to see him here.

"We're going on a date"

"Johnny.."

"You need a break from work as I already asked your little buddies to take care of it"

Daniel raised an eyebrow, "You mean louie and anoush?"

"Don't worry Amanda is there just in case" johnny said to reassure daniel and giving him a cheeky smile.

"johnny I don't know.."

"When was the last time we went on a date? Like an official date that was just us?"

"We never went on a date johnny"

"Exactly my point!!"

           Daniel looks back at his employees and sees amanda giving him the thumbs up as he didn't want to feel like he was abandoning all his responsibilities on her. Louie yells from the glass door, "Go on! We got it from here!!"

 
   He looks back to johnny as he got his stuff then they go inside his car. Daniel still holds on to the passenger door side since johnny drives fast as usual. They go back home so daniel can change and they leave again with robby and sam in charge of anthony. He wonders what kind of date it'll be as this should be interesting.

They made it to Golf n Stuff as they park and daniel sighs, "If it's one thing about this place is that it never changed"

  ."I'm glad it's still here" johnny replied locking the car doors with his key before they head into the place. They were nervous since they want to hold hands but a little scared how people would react. Although there were some people who were the same-sex couple having fun. They see how times have changed and didn't feel the need to hide as if it was back then.

Daniel's heart dropped a little when he feels johnny holding his hand until he held his as their fingers intertwine. They smiled looking at each other before they head on to play games, golf, and race car track. Heading to the photo booth, they tried to squeeze in but they're big for the booth. Johnny insisted daniel to sit on his lap as daniel was lost for words and little shy until taking a deep breath and sat on his lap.

They take the pictures then got out to look at them as they smiled it. It was getting late as they walk around holding hands and talking. Both were surprised how they have a lot in common and gave each other pointers in karate.

   Daniel had his eye on a big blue cobra a game booth happened to have as Johnny seen it. He pulls them over to the booth so he can win it as he paid the guy in the booth. He had to shoot as many ducks as he can as johnny takes the shotgun taking a deep breath then starts shooting. Daniel was shocked to see how fast johnny was going until he was able to beat another man's high score. He won as the guy gave him the blue cobra.

"That was easy"

"When did you learn how to shoot like that?"

"The kids and their video games" Johnny replied before letting daniel hold the cobra as they walk back to the car. They settle in as daniel told him how he had a good time.

"Hey! don't clock out yet the date isn't over"

"Where are we going?"

"To an old fashioned diner I know"

    They drove to an old fashioned diner that wasn't far as it was clean and it wasn't crowded with people. The waitress sets them in a booth as they order their food and johnny requested a big milkshake with two straws.  She nodded and walked away as johnny tells daniel how the food is very good as he loves how they make their burgers and the milkshake is also good.

"Well you had this all planned out"

"Sort of as I'm just trying to wing it" johnny implied as they chuckled.

"This date isn't bad as I'm having great time with you"

"Really?"

"Yes"

Johnny smiled as he slowly makes his way to hold daniel's hand. After the diner, they went back home as they came in to see the kids were asleep in their rooms. They slowly walk up to their room as daniel gets undressed, he said it would make his night if johnny doesn't mind to have a little fun in the shower. Johnny didn't need to bring asked twice as he carried daniel to the bathroom and laughs came be heard.
