The Model and Lawyer

Note: This one is gonna end a little sad BUT I released another story based on this called "Rekindled Hearts" as you can consider this as more of a background story. I don't know how modeling works but please bare with me 😭

       After high school, Daniel and johnny meet up to settle their differences. They became friends in that following summer seeing how they were alike. They continued to train under Mr. Miyagi as daniel had an idea to make a bonsai shop and some of the money would go to college. Daniel thought of taking a break from school and would go back when he turns 19. The bonsai shop was the only thing on his mind for this summer.

      He went far as signing a lease to a small building and convinced Mr. Miyagi to join in on it. It took some time but the business slowly started growing with customers. Although johnny had different plans as he didn't want to go to college. He didn't have the money or motivation to continue school. The only job he had was a movie clerk which daniel sort of teases him about since he never thought johnny would have that kind of job or a job at all.

       On Saturday, johnny was at his job brushing his hair as there wasn't much customers coming. He sighs as he was bored until a man came out of a limo and walks to the booth. He was talking to the driver before talking to the woman that was by his side. People on the sidewalk started to notice and see that he's an business man who can help people become models. He started to gain attention as he's walking to the ticket booth and looks at johnny. Taking off his shades, he gets a good look at johnny and smirks asking him if he's interested in modeling.

They talk for a bit before giving johnny his business card and went inside the movie theater with his woman. Johnny looks at the card and scoffs since there's no way he can model. He told daniel about it as they both laughed and imagine him posing for the camera.

      They went over to Miyagi-do and did a sparring match a couple of times to see who was the best. It only lead daniel on top of johnny pinning him down as they look at each other before daniel kneel down to give johnny a kiss.

      A month later, johnny quit his job and got into modeling. His boss, Mr. Rich was glad someone like johnny had joined the modeling industry because he can become a man-candy to some people and bring in customers. Johnny was enjoying his new modeling job as he got a nice apartment and traveled to some nice places. Daniel couldn't believe it as he had a bad feeling about it but wanted to be a supportive boyfriend.

       Johnny came back from his little vacation in a nice car and honked twice to catch daniel's attention from the front window of the shop. Daniel sees johnny and takes off the apron before coming outside walking towards johnny.

"Nice ride"

"Thanks. I was thinking we can go for a ride"

Daniel looks at his watch before sighing, "You got 30 minutes"

Daniel turned the sign to "CLOSED" before getting into the car. They ride around Reseda before getting something to eat and catch up. They were parked in a lot that had shade and no one was around, daniel holds johnny's hand as they smile.

"I'm happy to see you, Johnny"

"I missed you too, Larusso"

"Are you always gonna call me "Larusso", Johnny?"

"Maybe"

    They laughed as they feed each other fries before going on for a kiss. Only the kiss went further to them making out as johnny slowly gets on top of daniel. They only break up the moment when they hear a car coming and sighed. Johnny drives them back to Miyagi's bonsai shop as they go inside and johnny looks around.

He likes the place as it feels so peaceful and blocks out the reality. Daniel gives him a baby bonsai as johnny chuckles, "So how am I supposed to take care of this little tree?"

"The same way you would with a pet or child, with lots of patience and care"

"Mr. Miyagi's wisdom is coming onto you" Johnny says as they laugh.

"Hey! Where is Mr. Miyagi anyway?"

"He went on his own little vacation to visit Yukie, his sweetheart"

"Mr. Miyagi has a sweetheart of his own??!"

"Yes"

Johnny was surprised but happy to see the man has his own love life.

           Months went by as they were going great until johnny going out the his modeling job wants him to move as he's gonna be gone for a while. They had a talk about It as daniel was sad but supportive at first. Now that he's 19 and got into the college that he wanted, he knows that him and johnny wouldn't see each other much. Especially with johnny traveling for modeling.

          It was just the beginning because when daniel started college, their relationship was slowly going downhill. Moving in together wasn't good for them as daniel was getting tired of picking up after johnny when they were at home. Argued over some of the smallest things until one day daniel expresses how he feels about johnny modeling. 

It was night and johnny stands up from the couch, "What about modeling?"

"I mean I just think the whole thing is sketchy because you're gone most of the time, we barely have time to talk over the phone, and most importantly you're not here!!" Daniel yelled as he's struggling trying not to cry, feeling his hands become sweaty.

"You're not here either as you're gone because of work and school!"

"I know I'm not around cause of school and work but I'm not always gone like you!! I come home alone and I wake up alone while you could be across country having the time of your life Johnny!"

    "Now that we both know you'll be gone for a long time with no telling when you'll be back what's going to happen between us?!" Daniel said while wiping a tear from his eye.

              He can be patient and wait for him like most people but he wasn't. He wants to come home to someone who was present and wants to achieve any dreams they had in mind not doing something for a quick buck that feels too sketchy. He didn't care if johnny became a mechanic at least he would know where he worked, but he doesn't know much of johnny's work as his boss makes him feel uncomfortable. The thought of johnny cheating from all this traveling came into mind as well. He didn't want to think that way of johnny but it could happen.

They got into a huge argument that lead to johnny packing what he needed and they ended their relationship. They said things that shouldn't have been said and seen how the relationship is now ended hurts because deep down they still love each other.
