Ride

       Johnny Lawrence and his friends went out riding their motorbike all over town before going to the beach. They were having a good time before tommy tells johnny, "Looks like there's a party down there. Should we go?" Johnny and the rest of the gang look seeing there's a party as Johnny spotted a boy who had a small figure and doesn't look like he's from around here. They go down there slowly blending in the party as Johnny walks up to a boy who's around his age playing with a soccer ball.

        "Hey you're pretty good" Johnny says as he puts his hands in his pockets. The boy smiles while playing with the ball, "Thanks I've been practicing" the ball rolled over towards Johnny as he picks it up handing it to the boy. Their fingers touched as the boy smiled taking the ball, "My name is Daniel Larusso as I just moved here" Daniel says before kicking the ball to Johnny.

        "I'm Johnny Lawrence" Johnny replied before kicking it back. They played soccer for a bit as tommy and bobby look smiling before drinking by the bonfire. They take a break as Daniel puts his shoes on and grabbed his stuff telling Johnny how he should be heading home. Johnny asked if he had a car, "No, I got ride here from my mom as I told her I would find a way back and know my way home" Daniel says.

     Johnny shrugged telling him, "I got a motorbike as we can go for a ride before I can drop you off" Daniel gave in and told him okay. Johnny let his friends know as they told him okay and how they'll stay at the bonfire for a bit. Johnny and Daniel walked to the motorbike as they get on and Daniel holds on to Johnny's jacket tightly. They go for a ride through Encino before going to Reseda to drop Daniel off.  

       Daniel thanks Johnny for a ride as it was fun. They talked for a bit before Daniel heads inside his apartment with his mom talking to him. Johnny can't help but smile as he goes home. He thanks god his shitty stepdad, Sid was asleep as his mother was sleep as well. He didn't want to hear or get into an argument with the asshole.

 
      He takes off his shoes and jumps on his bed looking up at the ceiling thinking about Daniel and his smile. Johnny always felt he likes boys the same way he liked girls as he used to have a crush on some boy in the 9th grade then two more around the 10th. He dated Ali until they got into it and they broke up, but ended in peaceful terms. Sometimes Ali helps Johnny to go to blind dates, but those dates don't end so well and gave up doing those.

      The only question that Johnny thinks about is if Daniel would go on a date with him if he asked.

           The school year started as Johnny was surprised and felt a little joy seeing Daniel in the halls trying to look for his locker. He swoops by and asked, "Need help?" Daniel smiled telling Johnny that he did as he gives him the locker number. Johnny takes him to the locker as Daniel does that lock combination and puts his stuff inside. They talked for a bit before the bell rings and they parted ways. Luckily, they both have P.E. together as Daniel was playing with the soccer ball. Johnny came by as they talked for a bit before Tommy jumps on Johnny's back, "So who's the new kid?" He says out loud before laughing.

        Daniel introduced himself to Tommy and Bobby as they shook hands with him before the coach blows the whistle telling to boys to start playing soccer. They were surprised on how good Daniel was as he was making the goals. Once class was over, Tommy told Daniel how he needs to give them a free lesson of soccer because he's good. Daniel laughed telling him okay before they make it in the locker rooms.

     When school was over, Daniel was unlocking the lock to his bike as Johnny walks by, "Hey. I see you got a ride this time" he says holding his backpack on one shoulder.

    "Yea I finally put some air in the tires and decided to use it for once" Daniel says before standing up and they towards the school entrance. Johnny tells him, "I can give you a ride on motorbike again if you're up to it" He was nervous as he didn't want to seem desperate or coming off too strong. Daniel smiled before getting on his bike, "Alright I'll give you a call" He says before they exchange phone numbers and Daniel rides off.

     Johnny looks at the phone number while walking to his motorbike. His friends seen what happened and laughed or made weird sound effects before bobby says, "I guess we'll be seeing him more often" Johnny smiled before looking up seeing Daniel riding his bike from a distance.

            "Yea I guess I will."
