Ponyboy: Spiders- The two of you were sitting on his bed as he read to you. You laid on his bed, listening to his voice. When you looked to the side, you screamed in horror. On the wall above Ponyboy's head, was a huge, hairy brown spider! You continued to flip out and Ponyboy ran up to you. "Y/N what is it?!" He asked frantically, squeezing your shoulders. You lifted your shaking finger towards the spider, and cried out when it started to crawl up the wall. "Oh. Don't worry, I'll take care of it." he cooes. He slipped off his black converse, and smacks the wall. The spider drops to the ground, and you handed Pony a tissue from the bedside to pick it up with. After throwing it away, he comes up and kneels beside you. "Why didn't you tell me babe?" He smiled sweetly at you. "I-I was embarrassed." You confessed, wiping your eyes. "Y/N, you don't need to be embarrassed. I will always protect you."
Sodapop: Being sexually abused- You are at the Curtis house with your new boyfriend. You're sitting on the couch watching TV, when Sodapoop causally places his hand on your thigh. He squeezes affectionately and you cringe, slapping his hand away. You jump to your your feet in defense. "D-don't touch me." you stutter in fear. "What's wrong Y/N?" He asks, really concerned and a bit shocked by your outburst. "I-I... Please don't hurt me." you beg, as tears slip down your cheeks. "Doll, I would never do anything to hurt you. C'mere." he says softly, opening his arms out to you. You hesitate, but slowly step into his outstretched arms. "Tell me what's wrong." he mumbles into your hair. "Wh-when I was 12, I was walking home from school. This man came up to me. I knew him from my neighborhood. He said to me, 'Your mama is coming home late and she sent me here to get you. You're gonna stay at my house for a few hours, maybe later.' I went home with him and-" you start crying your eyes out. "Baby, I will never hurt you, and I will never let anybody put their hands on you. I wish you didn't have to live with this..." Sodapop hold you tight.
Curly: Bees- You and Curly are walking to the Dingo. You're laughing and joking around until you hear the faint sound of buzzing. You stop in a dead stillness and flip your head around looking for the source of the noise. You feel a bee skim past your ear, and start screaming and flailing your arms around. "Oh shit!" You yell running away. Confused, Curly runs after you. You trip over a stick and feel a sting go into your arm. You scream out in pain and fear that you will get swarmed any second. Nothing happens. Curly is immediately by your side. "Whas a matta Y/N?! What happened?!" He asks frantically. I got stung by a beeee!" You cry out and pedestrians stare at you crazily. "Aww I'm sorry. Lemme make it better." He pulls out the stinger and you bite down on your lip to keep quiet. "I never knew you're afraid of bees!" Curly says breaking the silence with his laughter. "It's not funny. They can swarm you and kill you." You says seriously, but find yourself laughing at his side.
