I just stood there and looked at Logan

Why does he have to be here? I thought

Now I have to eat dinner with someone I don't wanna talk to

"Ashley"

"What" I said looking at her and taking my eyes off of Logan

She gave me the say hello look

"Oh right, hi Darek and... Logan"

Logan's pov

This was bad

Here I am eating dinner with a girl that doesn't like me

If I new I would be coming here I would've come up with an excuse all for Ashley but she doesn't feel the same about me obviously

I caught her staring at me and I made eye contact with her

Now this is awkward neither of us left each others eyes

"Well shall we eat" her mom said

"Smells good" my dad said

"Thank you"

Ashley's pov

My mom and Darek walked by each other which meant I had to walk through the hall with Logan so I wouldn't be a total jerk

"Hey" he said not looking at me

I didn't answer

We had to sit by each other during dinner

"This looks so good" Darek said

I know this Darek guy is being nice but he doesn't have to compliment on everything unless...

After we ate a little Darek cleared his throat

"So Logan and Ashley we have some news, me and Lori have been dating for a while and-"

I already knew what news they were gonna share so I put my fork down backed up my chair and went upstairs to my room

Logan's pov

I don't know why but I had the urge to go after her

So I got up and left the table too

I went up to the room that looked like it would've been Ashley's room

I walked in and she was sitting on her chair with one knee against her chest

"Ashley?" I said

"What" she said quietly

"Are you ok?"

"What do you think" she said getting up

"I-"

She cut me off and walked towards me

"Never mind, my mom moved on from my dad so fast and here she is saying that they're getting married and I don't know what I did to deserve any of this my life is so-" I cut her off by kissing her but then I pulled away knowing she hated me and probably hates me more know

She just looked at me and I hoped that she wouldn't slap me

Ashley's pov

I was so done I didn't care anymore

Jake loves someone else

Me and Austin aren't a thing we're just friends

I didn't care so I just kissed Logan

And things got aggressive

I took off his shirt and he lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around him

He sat down on my bed and we continued to kiss

Our lips moved in sync

I wanted nothing else but to be with someone that wouldn't hurt me

Logan seemed like that type of guy that wouldn't do that

His smile lit me up

I barley know him but now I'm glad we aren't awkward anymore

I felt free

We kept kissing but then I pulled back and he looked at me

"What" he said

"Our parents"

This wasn't good I'm finally in love with a good person but he might soon become my brother

Oh god

He put his shirt back on and we went downstairs

"Mom"

"Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you... alone"

"Sure" she said

"Well thanks for dinner but we have somewhere to be, sorry" Darek said

They left and when my mom closed the door she looked at me

"What is it" she asked

"It's about Logan"
