Until They Met

PART 2

Jughead's story 

Since the southside high shut down, I and all the other fellow serpents have to go to Riverdale high. I tried convincing my parents to let me drop out but they didn't agree. so, here I am ready to go to another school with a bunch of northsiders. 

I was in the English class. All the seats on the back were already taken and I had to sit on the front bench. So much for trying. 

The teacher made me introduce myself and as expected everyone laughed at me on both of my names, there was only one girl that stayed quiet, I did not know her name then but now I know - Elizabeth Cooper. 

Oh wait! did I tell you that I love reading and writing and in my old school I was in charge of the weekly newspaper. So, now I planned to continue the same here as well. 

I went to the office of Principal Weatherbee and asked him to let me be a part of the school newspaper. He told me that I could go and ask the in-charge about it in the meeting hall - Betty.

I went into the hall and found betty working there alone. there was no one with her and she was working on her computer. I went to her desk and asked her if I could get into the newspaper. She asked me to give her some kind of article that she could read and make a decision from. I gave her a piece of paper and went back (I didn't like strangers to read my work in front of me, I know it is weird.)

Later that day. 

Sweat pea - hey Jug, we are going out to have some fun near the highway, wanna join us? 

J- yeah, sure. 

SP- k, grab your bike and head on 

I grabbed my bike and went with them. As soon as we reached the highway, everyone was out of my sight. I kept looking for them, No clue 

I left my bike for a while to look in the place where there was no space for more than a person on foot. 

I was halfway in that space and suddenly, I saw Fangs taking my bike away and laughing. Now I guess what fun they were planning on doing. 

I came out of that place as quickly as possible and Tried to catch up with them , I couldn't 

I had to walk to the trailer now. I began walking but, halfway there I got stuck because of rain. I already was half drenched and till I found a roof, I was completely wet. 

There I saw betty who was completely dressed for some occasion, maybe a date or something. She looked kinda frustrated to me since she was continuously kicking stones with her heels and looking at her phone cursing under her breath.
