That car ride was the toughest car ride for jughead , he had no idea if Betty would wake up or if he would lose her forever.
He rushed through the silent town. When he reached the hospital he quickly picked up Betty and ran in the emergency ward. There , two nurses saw the scene and immediately provided a stretcher. She was gone into surgery.
Jughead sat in the waiting room not knowing what to do , who to call and what to think.
He call Ed Archie and then Veronica. They also immediately showed up in the hospital and Archie had messaged Alice. So she was also on her way. A doctor came out of the operation theatre and jughead ran to him
J - doctor , is ... Is she okay ?
D- we are trying our best , she has a lot of internal bleeding and it would take us time to figure it all out ...but she sure is in a critical condition
Jughead could feel his heart panic and his knees weaken , tears were coming down his eyes. Before he could hit the ground, Archie helped him.
Ar- dude,be strong , I know she will make it.
J- the doctor said she is in a critical condition!
Ar- jug , think about something else. Like who could have done it
J- I don't know...Betty is the perfect girl, and she didn't do anything to make any enemies...oh no!
Ar- what !?
J - she punched Reggie in the face for me
Ar- oh no ! He definitely would have gone for her.
J- omg this is all on me . I should hav e never been in her life...wherever I go I just dull everything. God , the only good thing in ny life is now on a death bed fighting for Life onle because of me !
Archie held jughead and just then Veronica came in . She was also worried .
V -you know who did this to her !?
J- it ..it was Reggie he took revenge when she punched him .
V- oh my god ! He is dead meat.
Ar- wait Veronica , we are still not sure , we need Betty to wake up first. The. We can go on harrassing Reggie.
Then again the doctor came out of the OT
D- jughead Jones?
J- yes
D- we have revived Betty Cooper, we were able to stop the bleedings in time. It was good that you didn't wait for the ambulance and brought her here on your own.
J- thank you doctor. Can I see her?
D - yeah, she is not yet in her senses but she may be able to listen to you.
J - thanks doctor.
