Until They Met

PART 3

Betty's Side 

Since the last time I saw him, I want to see him again and again. I want to be near him and talk to him. I was currently at home getting dressed for school. I chose a Lavender coloured sweater with a white shirt and a pair of blue jeans. I did my regular makeup and got out of my closet. I was almost ready and decided to write down my feelings in the diary. 

Suddenly, My mom waltz in without even knocking on the door. she does it all the time and we argue about it for a solid five minute every time and then she repeats it again and again. 

I am so done with her. I just can't wait to leave for college. anyways, since I was getting late for school and my mom had already put my attention somewhere else by coming straight inside the door. I went downstairs, grabbed my lunch money and some juice and went to school. 

When I was near the lockers, I heard Reggie making his way to me.  I was so frustrated and V was just beside me. I told her whatever happened the day before and she was in her mood to cut everything that comes in her way. (poor Reggie)

I saw him come near his locker. I went to him with the juice tumbler in my hands. I asked him where he was yesterday and he made fun of me. He said that he was never going to show up and that date was just a prank. I was so mad. But since I couldn't do anything I began to dig my nails deep inside my skin. I couldn't believe what I did next. I threw the juice in the tumbler on his face and stormed off. I saw Veronica making fun of him next and wasn't sure what to do. 

I ran as fast as I could and hid in an empty classroom. there was no one. I was starting to have a panic attack when I heard the door open. it was Jughead. he came in and saw me sitting down having a panic attack. He crouched to my level and rubbed my shoulder. he asked me to take deep breaths and let it all out. I tried to do as he said but I just couldn't stop crying. 

Slowly I stopped hyperventilating and calmed down. Jughead came near me and hugged my from the side. He asked me if I were okay. I replied affirmatively. He asked me if I could tell him what had happened that led me to a panic attack, I told him what happened and he told me not to worry about Reggie as he was an asshole and what I did to him was right. 

Later that day In the room for Blue and Gold

B- Hey Kevin, since you are going out, can you send Jughead in I want to talk to him. 

K- Sure, no problem. 

2minutes later jughead enters. 

J- you asked for me?

B- yeah. I read your article...and I am ..impressed. Welcome to the Blue and Gold. 

J- Thanks, Just wanted to know something. Will I get full freedom

B-I will try. 

J- Doesn't sound like it ...but okay 

B- also, I wanted to say thanks for earlier today. I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there today. Thanks so much. 

J - don't mention. 

we talked some more and discussed some things for our next article and went home.
