Until They Met

PART 27

When Veronica entered the garage , she saw a whole board covered with Reggie and his activities . It was just like the one they had in the FBI . It seemed like Betty and Jughead had taken way too seriously.

In the middle was the picture of Reggie, with red tape, it was highlighted towards the pictures of Archie,moose and other high schoolers.

With that on the board, a whole desk was filled with documents which showed where each of the person was at that time.

V- oh my god Betty! You did all this ? I thought you were just going to tell me some kick his ass plan literally
B- Well Veronica , sometimes you gotta beat an idiot but not with hands , with mind games.
J- we got all the information here and we are planning on confronting that idiot.
V- what !? Confronting him ? As if he would tell you the truth !?? Pfft..
J- so what do we do then
V- do this Veronica lodge style.
J- hmm..sorry what ?
B- oh I know. Chuck Clayton type.

J- what ! No ! I am not letting you go near that asshole.
B- comeon Jug , I can help myself and plus v will be with me .

V - yes jug and that is the only way you two will get justice. We need concrete proof or witness or statement.
J- but ...
V- I don't want to hear no iff or buts. We are doing this and you also ahve a job to do in this.

J- what ?
V- Archie has sorta grown a soft spot for Reggie and if he thinks that we have something cooking up here then he will definitely warn Reggie about it. And. We definitely don't want taht happening to our plan. Sooo, you are on duty - BABYSIT ARCHIE.

With that Veronica left Betty's house and went home. Betty and jughead left the garage and went in Betty's room.there they lay in bed holding hands.
J- I love you , so much
B- I love you too Juggie .

For sometime they lay in that position doing nothing and slowly sleep took over them.

Late in the night Betty woke up and saw Jughead sleeping peacefully next to her. She went down to kitchen very cautiously , trying not to wake him up. And had some water. She came back up to the room and saw Jughead sitting up. Rubbing his eyes . With those messy bed hair and she went near him and played with his hair.

B- you look so cute in bed hair
Jughead didnt reply, just pulled Betty near him and wrapped his arms around her waist. Slowly moving them lower. Betty caught his arm. Moving further and slowly slapped them with hers .

B- not there silly! Betty giggled
J- oh, I am sorry!

And they spent the night by having fun, laughing and giggling on each other .  Unknown of what was about to come their way.
