J- well I don't know Mrs.Cooper, what are YOUR thoughts about this. I mean you were a serpent yourself and had a fair share of in and out of prison. I am not entirely sure of what the prison looks like .would please describe it to me?
Jughead said this in the most respectful manner as he could. Alice being Alice hissed at his words but couldn't say much since Betty was just there. Betty, who saw the whole event unfold was embarassed by her mother and impressed by Jughead that he did some research but she was also quite surprised about what he said.
The dinner ended nicely. After the encounter earlier , Alice kept it under her pants and Jughead liked not being provoked. The night ended with jughead giving Betty a sweet kiss on her cheek since Alice was watching and saying good bye.
When Betty shut the door and came back to the kitchen where her mom was cleaning up, she raised her eyebrow at her mom and said.
B- mom what was he talking about? Were you also at the south side and did you go to prison ?
A- oh honey ! That is all a part of my past. I don't like to talk about them and you know it. But here it is I like that boy.
Betty did know that Alice never talk about her past. She didn't like it at all. But Betty also knew hen and where to poke and she did exactly what was rational. She was happy to hear that her mother approved of her boyfriend. And with joy she ran upto Alice and hugged her.
The next day was working day and Betty was getting ready for school. She put on some light pink cropped tshirt and a pair of black skinny jeans with some calf high boots and a leather jacket. She did a little make up and left her blonde draught hair open.
After getting her breakfast, Betty headed out of the door towards her school . On the way she met Veronica and began discussing the details of the dinner.
B- so my mom approved of jughead!!!!
V- that is so great B. Veronica mumbled.
Betty looked at her confused
B- I thought you'd be happy.
V- I am...I am but there is just something on my mind.
B- talk to me V
V- B the day of your "accident". I don't seem to understand who did that. I mean if it was Reggie then why'd he come to visit you ( he di but I forgot to mention that) it has got to be someone else.
B- I know who it was
V- who ?!!!
