Liam POV

Why did the bell have to ring I was loving this class. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. At least I have Vampire Studies next. Mrs. Redneck is a fun teacher, unlike Mrs. Drew.

I was about to go over to the others when I felt Ethan press his leg against mine. Well, that's weird. Maybe it was a mistake, so I will let this one slide. I finished packing my bag and walked over to my friends.

"It's not fair that I have a next class, and you all don't," I mumbled.

"The advantage you get for not being a hybrid, I guess," Levi stated. Well, that is true.

"Yup, yup, being a hybrid comes with extra classes, and I cannot" Tanya added.

"Well, I feel your pain since I have a class right now as well" Kasper announced. I forget that Kasper is around sometimes since he's so quiet and antisocial.

"Sigh. See you all tomorrow" I said as we all went our ways.

I moved along to my next class which is on the ground floor. As I was walking, I felt this presence following, I looked behind me and saw it was Ethan. I forgot he has to go this way to get to the locker room. I continued to class with him strolling behind me in silence. Well, this is awkward. I finally got to class, and Mrs. Redneck was already there, so I took my seat next to Aaron.

"Good Afternoon, everyone; today, we're going to look at The Powers And Abilities Of A Vampire. Take out your textbook and turn to page 70." She announced to the class.

When class was over I said bye to Aaron and was on my way to my locker when I got a text from Mya.

Mya: Pack Meeting at 6. I'm going to be at your house by 5.

Me: Okay and why 5 that's an hour before?

Mya: I need to see inside your house duh.

Me: it's giving very much creep.

Mya: I'm not.

Me: Whatever rocks your boat.

I placed my books in the locker now it's time to head home.

"Mom, I'm home," I shouted.

I'm always the first one here. I do need to take an extracurricular like the others. Dwayne plays basketball, Sam plays soccer and Emila takes swimming. Maybe I should sign up for the swimming or track team.

"I'm in the living room"

"How was school?" Here she goes asking me about that hell hole.

"Are you going to ask me that every day?"

"Yes, so how was it?" she continued after pausing the TV. I love our mom-and-son dynamic. My sarcasm definitely came from her.

"It was fine as always Mom just a little situation almost happened"

"Okay, there's a pack meeting at 6, so that's in like 2 hours, no time for a nap."

"Wasn't going to nap anyway. One of my friends is coming over in an hour."

"Okay, now move along. Let me get back to watching my Real Housewives of Atlanta."

I made my way upstairs to my room. I did some homework that's due tomorrow, got in bed, and watched Shadow Hunters on Netflix. Before I knew it, it was 5 already, and everyone seemed to be home. The doorbell rang; as I was walking downstairs, I thought I heard the m-word leave Dwayne's mouth. I wasn't quite sure since I was a few feet back.

"Mate," he said as Mya stood outside the door, frozen in time. That was totally the last thing she expected.

"Hey," Mya finally spoke after a while.
