Chapter 13 - You Belong With Me

Liam POV

Finally, I have gotten home from this long day of school. I got out of my car and walked inside. Sounds like no one is home as yet. I headed to my bedroom and dropped face down on my bed. I know I should get up and take off my clothes but I'm so tired. I began to doze off before I could.
As I'm dreaming my mind takes me to a place in the forest that was unfamiliar to me. I took a look around and all I saw were trees. I decided to walk to the right and after a few minutes ahead of me was an old wooden house. Calming vibes were from the house pulling me towards it. The next thing I realized I was inside the house.
I walked around inside until I found a room with 4 men; it seemed like a living room. As I got closer I could tell that they were talking among themselves and it looked serious.
"We need to leave here as soon as possible they're on to us and if they find out we're the descendants of the Moon Goddess who knows what they're going to do to us." A massive man with jet-black hair stood up and said.
"But Strom we can't leave this is the only home we know where are we going to go." The youngest one complained.
"Starstruck, we must leave at once to keep Sky safe," Strom responded after pointing to a guy with white hair sitting on the couch.
What are they running and hiding from? Whatever it is must be a big threat to all of them but mostly Sky.
"I agree with Strom we can't let them get to Sky he is too valuable." The guy sitting next to Sky said.
"Of course, you would agree Spirit anything to keep your mate safe right?" Now Starstruck seemed to be angry with the idea because they were doing it for Sky.
"Hush Starstruck this is to keep all of us safe. So just trust me please." Strom tried to reason with his youngest brother.
"Okay, fine what's the plan?"
"The plan is to take a sip of this potion I got from a very powerful witch. It would transform us into our wolves and place our wolf forms into a new life force sometime in the distant future and when it's the right time we would meet again." This made Starstruck more skeptical about this plan.
"Are you insane?? What if this doesn't work??"
"It's the only way to save ourselves Starstruck. We will give you two about five minutes talk" Strom said to Spirit and Sky as him and Starstruck walked out of the room.
"How do you feel about all of this" Spirit asked his mate.
"I guess it's for the best. We had many great years together and sooner or later we're gonna have those days again. I'm going to miss you Spirit." Sky began to cry after realizing he didn't know when he's going to see his mate and bestfriend again.
"I will miss you too Sky. You're always going to be my heart from now and til we meet again." Spirit said after leaning his forehead against Sky's.
"I love you"
"I love you too" They shared their last kiss til they saw each other again.
"Strom, Starstruck we're ready" They both came into the room seconds after hearing their names. Strom came back with the potion and everyone took a sip.
"Until we meet again," everyone said together then Sky turned, looked me in my eyes, and said, "The time is now".
"Liam, Liam wake up"
"Yess??" I was still feeling kind of tired.
"Mom and Dad said to get ready we have dinner with the Davis’ in 30 minutes"
"Ahh okay fine" Well that sleep was good while it lasted.
I sat up on my bed and began to think about that dream I had. Three of those names sounded familiar to me like I heard them before but I can't remember where. The one newest to me was Sky and what did he mean by the time is now? Is it about the conversation they had or something else? Before I think myself into a coma I'm going to get ready for dinner. I headed to the bathroom and took a shower.
What should I wear? I asked myself while standing inside of my walk-in closet.
I decided on a blue and white plaid polo shirt, khaki pants, and some dress shoes. After I was finished I walked downstairs to find everyone ready.
"Not again. One day I'm not going to be the last to get ready." I folded my arms.
"Well we will be waiting on that day for a very long time" Dwayne mentioned and everyone laughed.
"Okay let's go," my Dad said after everyone was finished laughing.
We walked over to the Davis house and my dad pressed the doorbell. A few moments later Mr Davis opened the door.
"Come on in" Damn this house is big.
"Boys get down here" A few seconds later the infamous Davis’ triplet came downstairs. They couldn't quite see me because I was standing directly behind my dad.
"Boys this is Anderson our new beta and his family. These are our sons you all didn't get to meet yesterday" Mr Davis introduced all of us.
"Nice to you all" Dethan greeted.
"Same to you" My Dad replied.
"Let's go into the dining room and sit down because dinner is almost ready. Aren't we missing someone? Where's Liam" Mr Davis asked before looking everywhere.
"No, he's right here" My dad turned and put me in front of him that's when Dethan and two douches finally saw me.
"You got to be kidding me" Ethan muttered.
"Now what is he doing here?" Nathan mumbled under his breath but everyone still heard. I was wearing an evil grin at this point.
"Hey Liam," Dethan said with a smile. At least someone was happy to see me.
"Hey Dethan" I replied smiling.
"Y'all mad? Y'all sad? Y'all angry? I make y'all feel all those emotions" Now everyone in the room was laughing.
"Can we get this dinner over with? I can't stand him." Nathan noted. I seem to strike a nerve.
"Shut up Nathan and be respectful," Mr Davis said.
"It's no problem Mr Davis he's been this way since this morning" I replied with a smile.
"When you bumped into me" Nathan stated and I rolled my eyes.
"Nathan... "
"Fine" he walked away to the next room after his dad said his name.
"And please call me Anthony. Mr Davis makes me sound elderly." Everyone let out a little chuckle.
"But you are" my dad replied.
"Says the man that's the same age as me"
"Yup you are still older by a few days"
"Dinner is ready," Mrs Davis said from the dining room. It's time to eat.
We all sat down and I realized Dethan was sitting on the opposite side of the table from me. Everyone passed around each dish and took what they wanted. Seems like everyone got a piece of everything we are werewolves after all our appetites are huge. Well except for Sam of course.
I felt someone's foot tapping me under the table. I look up and realize it was Dethan. He had a silly smile on his face so I did the same to him. As we were playing with each other's feet under the table I was asked a question.
"How are you liking it here so far Liam?" Anthony asked.
"I like it a lot. School is great I meet some new friends, and the teachers & students are nice except a few." I looked at Nathan and Ethan when I said the last part.
"That's good that you're settling in great."
That was the only question I was asked the whole time at dinner and Thank God because I wasn't in the mood for talking.
"Nathan and Ethan can you please help Hannah and I carry the dishes into the kitchen? Everyone else can go into the living room." Zariah said.
"Oh and Dethan you could show Liam your room" she winked at him.
"Okay let's go," he said then started to walk in the direction of his room I just followed in silence.
"Why are you so silent" he let out a chuckle as he opened his room for me to enter.
His room was a mixture of different blues and grays. His king-size bed was in the middle of the room with two bedside tables and a huge TV. I saw two extra doors those must be the bathroom and closet. There was a shelf with many trophies on it I walked over and one said "Junior Swimming Champion"
"I didn't know you were a swimmer," I said looking back at him
"Yeah, and I'm a great one at that." He replied with a huge smile. Cocky much.
"I can see that" I responded as I continued to look at all the trophies.
"Maybe you could come to one of my swim meets something," he said to me nervously with his head down and fidgeting with his fingers
"Sure I would love to" When I said this he looked up beaming.
"Great"
Looking around his room some more I saw a window seat just like mine. I sat down then looked outside the window and straight ahead was my room. This must be the room I saw the boy in taking off his shirt. So the boy was Dethan.
"I saw you last night lol" Now I was the one fidgeting.
"How exactly??" Dethan asked confused.
"Come here let me tell you" he walked over to the window and sat in front of me.
"Look outside the window and tell me what you see"
"A dark window that must be a room," he said still confused.
"That's my room. I saw you in here taking off your shirt while I was sitting in my window. All I saw was your back though"
"Ohh that was you I knew I sensed someone looking at me. Did you like what you saw? " he asked while wiggling his eyebrows.
"Boy bye" we laughed.
"Can I have your number"
"Sure and we could do the window messages like Taylor in You Belong With Me," I said after giving him my number.
"I will make sure to keep my drawing pad and a marker close." He laughed.
"Same"
"I like spending time with you. Since the first time we met I have this calm feeling everything I'm around you" he said with a smile now I was blushing.
"Aww, you're so sweet Dethan" I was smiling like crazy.
"Liam it's time to go" my mom shouted from downstairs. Always ruining an amazing moment.
"See you tomorrow Dethan, bye" I said walking up to him and giving him a hug. Which lasted for quite some time if I may add.
"Bye Liam," he said after we were finished hugging.
I walked down the stairs and saw everyone was waiting for me. We said our goodbyes to the Davis' and returned home.
"You're getting cozy with the Triplets, especially the one with the hazel eyes. What's going on??" Sam asked being nosey.
"Ethan and Nathan I hate them with a passion. Dethan is nice and all my new friends at school keep saying he likes me or whatever" I said smiling at the last part.
"Liam has a boyfriend," my mom said in a silly voice now everyone is laughing.
"Mom hush he's not," I said looking away from them.
"Just be careful," my dad said seriously.
"I will dad, Goodnight everyone I need my beauty sleep"
I went upstairs to my room and over to my window. I looked outside and saw Dethan doing the same. He saw me and started to write something on his pad. Oh, he was serious so I had to look for mine as well. I got up, went to my desktop drawer, and took out the drawing pad and blue marker.
When I got back he was finished writing so he held up his pad "Sweet dreams Liam hope you dream about me xoxo". I began to blush as I wrote mine. When I was finished I held up and it said "Sweet Dreams Dethan xoxo Goodnight."
