Chapter 8 - A New Day Has Come

Liam POV

After about 5-6 hours of driving, we were finally in the new pack and our new home. It was getting a little dark outside. When we arrived at the house 2 people were standing on the outside. All of us got out and went to greet them.

"Hey buddy how are you haven't seen u in ages," the man said to my Dad.

"I'm great bro what about you" Dad answered.

"I'm good. So introduce me to your family."

"This is my wife, Hannah, those are my two oldest sons Dwayne and Sam; this beautiful mess right here is my daughter Emila, and last but not least here is my youngest son Liam." my dad introduced us all.

"Nice to meet everyone. My name is Anthony Davis this is my wife Zaria and my 3 sons Ethan, Nathan, and Dethan; they're triplets they couldn't make it but hopefully you all will get to meet them soon."

"Nice to meet you," we all declared.

"Well, this is your house. 6 bedrooms each room has a walk-in closet, a guest room, 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and a backyard with a pool. " Zaria told us.

"Wow thanks, buddy it's like a mansion but way smaller," my dad laughed.

"Anytime bro. We have to go to a pack meeting which starts in 5 minutes in the pack house. So go ahead and get settled in I will see y'all tomorrow. Bye," He said and walked to the house that's right next to us which was a little bigger.

"Bye," we all let out.

"Wow Dad look at this house," my brother Dwayne confessed.

"Ain't God Good," my other brother Sam said and we all chuckled.

"Let's get our stuff, go inside, and look around. " Mom told us.

"Go pick y'all rooms too. The rooms with a joint bathroom are Sam & Dwayne's and the biggest is ours. So Emila and Liam y'all choose between the others" We rushed to the house.

"Hold up." we stopped and turned around and he was pointing at "The boxes"

"Oh yeah right," We forgot about those.

We hurried and carried the boxes inside and drove our cars into the garage which I might say is huge. We raced to see who could pick their bedroom first.

When we were finished picking our rooms we headed downstairs to look at everything else.

"This is the biggest kitchen I have ever seen," I declared.

"Me too," Emila confessed.

"Me three" Dwayne let out.

"Me four," Sam said and we all laughed.

We went to the living room and saw a 60-inch TV and our eyes almost fell to the floor.

"Wow," I was amazed.

After sitting down and looking at how big the TV was; we went to the backyard. Dwayne slid open the door and everyone was so surprised. In front of us was a huge 6ft pool with a water slide and a jacuzzi. We snapped out of it about a minute later.

"Wow," Sam mumbled.

"We are going in after we unpack" Dwayne expressed.

"Hell yeah," I cheered.

"After everybody is done unpacking we all can come down and go in" Emila plotted.

"Sounds like a plan" Dwayne nodded.

"Goooooo," Sam said and we raced up to our rooms.

My room was blue; my favorite color. I had a king-sized bed with two small bedside tables and a 50" TV. Also, a table and a chair to do work on, my lovely walk-in closet, and a window seat. I could see into Anthony and Zaria's house.

I took out my beach pants changed into them, grabbed a towel, and went to the backyard. Of course, those 3 were in the pool already.

"Come in Liam the water is nice," Sam said.

"I'm coming have patience child" I joked and he splashed me.

"That's what u get" He joked again.

"Idiot," I said and he splashed me again.

"Do that one more time" I sided eye him.

"And what are you going to do about it?" He asked smirking.

"You know you love to sleep all the time. You might not wake up one of those times," I said to frighten him which it did.

"Ok ok," He looked so fearful.

"Right" Me, Emila, and Dwayne laughed at his facial expression.

I jumped right in making sure to soak all of them when I did. We were in there for such a long time Mom and Dad had to tell us to come out for dinner. So we got out went upstairs showered, dressed, and came back down. Everyone was already sitting and eating.

"Am I that slow" I laughed.

"Yes, you are sorry to say" Emila let it be known.

"Oh please y'all are just fast" Everybody giggled.

"Just sit down and eat fool," Sam said and I shot him an unpleasant look.

"How are y'all liking the house kids," Dad asked us.

"Great Dad my room is awesome and the pool is amazing" Emila replied and we all agreed.

"I'm glad you all like it," Dad announced with a smile.

"Sorry to cut the fun but y'all have school so please be up early in the morning." Mom declared killing our vibe.

"Why?" We all asked.

"Because each one of you need the education so chop-chop," Mom replied snapping her fingers. All of us looked to our Dad for help with the best puppy eyes we could master.

"School" Dad responded.

"Ughhh" We gave up.

Once dinner was finished we all headed upstairs to sleep since school is tomorrow. I went to my room and sat in the window seat. And began to think about the last 2 months of my life. I hope this pack isn't like that other one.

While I was gazing through the window someone came into a room in the Davis' house it seemed to be a bedroom. I saw a male figure with his back to me. He must have sensed eyes on him so he turned and looked behind him. That's when I closed my window curtain. I took a peep and he was still looking I couldn't see the person's face well enough so I went to bed. I have a long day tomorrow.
