Another Murder

Hange was back to her old self. While working she was missing Levi.
She scoffed. You can work on your own hange, you have already before meeting this chibi, hange thought to herself.
While examining all the robberies thouroughly she noticed that these were somehow connected to the billionaire Rod Riess.

She called Moblit and Petra. "Seems like we've got a lead"
They looked at her eagerly
"These robberies they are connected to this man, there is just one connection between these victims that they are associated in a way with the royal family" hange said.
"What about the murder?"petra asked
"For that I am still confused. There are a lot of questions, why at Levi's house, is he connected to this murder, or is the murderer his old enemy or something" hange said
They thought for a while. Erwin called her and said. "There has been another murder"
"Where?"
"At the maria city restaurant" erwin said
Hange eyes widened.
"What happened hange san" moblit asked
"T-this is the same restaurant me and levi used to have dinner" hange said
"He is targetting captain levi. But what does he want? He is just killing people and that too at places close to you and him" petra said
"We should go there" hange said

They reached the crime scene. This murder was same as the old one. Sliced throat with a sharp knife.
"The murdere must be at least 6' 2" tall" hange said
"How"moblit asked
"See this cut. It is tilted upwards. The victim's height is 6 feet so the murder must be taller" hange said
Moblit took notes of everything just like the old times.
There was again a paper with smell of roses. But when she opened it she froze

She went back to the office. "Erwin where is the file of kenny the ripper?" She asked
"It mustbe in the basement. Old case. Why do you need it?" Erwin asked
"I just want to confirm something"

She ran towards the basement and started searching that file. After half an hour she found it.
She opened the file and her suspicions were correct.
She went back to the office.
"See this Erwin, kenny the ripper also had the same technique, slice the throat and keep a clean sharp knife near the dead body and he is also 6'2" tall." Hange said
"So you are saying that kenny is back" Erwin said
"Yes"
"But what is his connection with levi and you" erwin said.
She read the file again and then it hit her.
"See this, in 1990, there was an encounter between the cops and kenny's gang, few of his gang memebers died and only 2 escaped" hange said
"And these were?" Erwin asked
"Kenny and Traute Cavern" hange said
"This is same Traute whose case me and levi were handling last time" hange said.
"Good job hange."
"But still the question remains the same, what does he wants from us?"

"Maybe he is taking some kind of revenge" petra said
Moblit and petra started talking about all possibilities.
"Hah.." hange spoke suddenly. Everyone looked at her, they were used to this. This meant that she had got something
"What is it hange" erwin asked
"Remember when you gave us traute's case , Levi was reluctant to take that case. He tried to persuade me to leave that case. Ha wanted to do this alone"
"That was strange. This means that Levi knew about her."
"This must be connected to levi's past. When he was criminal" hange said
"Do you know about her family hange" Erwin asked
"Yes, he told me that he only had a mother as his family but yes but after his mother's there was a man who took him in" hange said
"Who was he" erwin asked
"Levi didn't tell me"

"Uh... this case is making me sick," hange growled
"Hange san I think you should have a coffee" moblit said. He knew that coffee made hange's brain run even faster.
"Oh moblit, you're right and I know the best place to work" hange said.
