Regrets

Explanation

Hange woke up. Her body was aching. She got up and tried to recall the last events. She was attacked by few people in the alley. She killed 5 of them then they knocked her out. Everything after this was blurry. She doesn't know what was happening.
She looked around. She was in a room. She looked over herself. She was in different clothes. Her old clothes were thrown in a corner. Who changed her clothes? There were bandages on her wrist, knees and cheek.
Just then she heard the sound of footstep. She panicked. She picked up the vase kept on the table. As soon as the door opened she threw the vase at that person. But that person dodged it.
She was shocked to see HIM she must be hallucinating right now.
"Hange" he said.
Tears were forming in her eyes "Le-Levi"
She went to him and...
She slapped him. He thought he deserved it. 

Then she hugged him tightly and cried clutching his shirt. He hugged her back. Now tears were flowing from his eyes also.

"Why Levi why did you leave me?"Hange sobbed.
"I had no other choice hange" levi said

"But why?" Hange cried
"For you. I did this to save your life" levi said.
After few moments she stopped crying. Levi cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears "

Please eat something" he handed her the chips packet which he found in kitchen. They sat on the bed closely.
"You should also eat" hange said.
"No you should eat first I am not humgry" levi said
"No you will eat" Hange ordered. Levi smiled. He missed her bossy behaviour.
"Fine" he said
"You owe me hell lot of explanation" hange said
Levi sighed. He brought her closer. He definitely owed her explanation.

"What exactly happened that day?" Hange asked
"After the explosion the building collapsed and I got knocked out. When I woke up I was in a very different place. I was at kenny's place. He threatened me that if I don't work with him then he'll kill you. You were admitted in the hospital at that time. So i had no other choice but to work with him. We had a deal that if i'll keep working with him he won't do anything to you." Levi said
"You could have asked for help from Erwin" hange said
"I couldn't. His men were always keeping an eye on me"
"What about these robberies and murders" Hange asked
"I don't know about the murders. But ya I was behind those robberies " levi said
"I knew it. After all you are my red rose robber right?" Hange said
"Yeah" levi said smiling
"But why was he after me, he promised you that he won't harm me." Hange asked
"Kenny had ordered me to do a job which I denied. Kenny murdered those people. He lured you into this trap. He knew you were... you were special to me and I would agree to him if I saw you in danger."
"What job?"
"To kill someone. And you know I don't kill innocent people."
Hange hummed in response. She still was not able to process so many things.

Levi nuzzled his face in her shoulder. He inhaled her scent. It was his favourite.
"Levi"
"Hmm"
"Why you Levi? Why did kenny kidnapped you that day? Does he know you?"
Levi froze for a second. He wasn't expecting this question
"It's because I am an Ackerman"
"What's so special in that?"
"Kenny is my uncle"
She looked at him with wide eyes
"He was the one who took me in when my mom died. Sorry hange, for not telling you this earlier" levi said
They stayed in silence .
