Escape

Levi planned everything how he will save hange.

In the night, He went to her cell silently. And without making any noise he killed the two guards there. He went inside the cell and untied her hands. He lifted her up on her shoulder.

He silently went towards the window and carefully climbed down. When he almost reached the ground he heard "They have escaped".

Shit he has to move faster. He tried to run as fast as he could with hange on his shoulder.

"Look he is there"

They saw him. He ran as fast as he could. They were after him.

His body started to ache a bit. He heard gun shots. He has to do something fast. He saw the river flowing. He quickly jumped in it with hange. The men shot few bullets in the water, but till then he had gotten away.

He swam with her on his back till he reached the surface. He was a bit tired. He sat next to her on the surface. He looked over her. She was still asleep. He caressed her cheek gently. He thought that she might have forgotten about him till now and moved on. But she never gave up on him.

He saw that she was shivering. He covered her with his jacket. She must be feeling cold because of the water.

He had to take her somewhere where she would be safe.

"Ah I know a place"

He lifted her up and took her to a place.

It was empty house just few furnitures.

He examined the house . No one was there.

He laid her down on the bed. Her clothes were drenched. He has to change it or else she will fall sick.

He took a shirt and pant from the closet.

He closed his eyes.Then he unbuttoned her shirt and pants. His hands were trembling while doing this. Her skin was soft. He missed her touch, her warmth and her voice which used to calm him down. He changed her clothes and threw the old clothes in corner.

Then he finally opened his eyes.

He made sure that all the windows and doors were closed properly.

Now he just have to wait for her to wake up.

He searched the kitchen for some food. She hasn't eaten anything for a day. He found some chips packet. "This will do for now"

He waited for her to wake up. He wished nobody found them here. He sat in the drawing room and closed his eyes

They were running for an hour now. They are lost in the forest.

"Huff...it was dangerous" hange panted

"Yes, if you would have been careful then we would not have lost here" Levi scolded

"But Levi it was fun"

"It was dangerous. They would have killed us"

"But it was important for the case"

"Your life is more important you dumb idiot" Levi scolded

"Aww.. Levi you care about me, don't you?" Hange said

Levi face was turning red.

"I just don't want to face the wrath of Erwin or your overprotective roommate" levi said

Then to make things worse it started raining

"It's raining" hange said

"I can see that dumbass" levi said.

Just then Hange sneezed. "Well I always catch a cold if i get caught in rain"

"What a pain" levi said "Lets go shitty glasses"

"Where?"

"Tch. To find some shelter so that you don't die"

"Let's go"

They looked around in the forest.but couldn't find anything

"Look Levi" she said as she pointed towards a huge tree.

"What"

"We can stay here. It has a large canopy. It will protect us from the rain" hange said as she sat under the tree.

Levi scowled

"What grump? Why are you not sitting here" hange said when she saw levi not moving

"It's filthy there, I won't sit there" he said

"But you'll catch cold"

"I'll be fine shitty glasses"

"Stop being a child"

"I'm not. I said I 'm fine here"

Hange sighed. She took out her handkerchief and placed it next to her. "You can sit on this, it's not filthy"

He looked over that. It wasn't filthy.

He went there and sat next to her.

He felt that she was shivering so he wrapped his arms around her

"Levi?" She looked at him confused.

"You are shivering. This will keep you warm" he said not looking in her eyes.

She smiled and pulled him closer to her. She really was feeling cold.

They stayed like this for rest of the night slept in each other's warmth.

Levi smiled at the old memories. He missed her. For 4 years, he wanted to meet her so desperately but he knew he can't. He doesn't wanted to put her in any sort of danger.
