Chapter 6: I don't want to

Leyla's POV

I already lost my hope in Jack, 1 month has passed since I last saw him. I was just running through the forest throwing arrows with my bow to some trees. Everytime an arrow touched a tree, the tree electrified. It was very entertaining to see.  

My bow and arrows were my only friend, I got lonely again just like I was before, just a spirit. I really want to talk to someone, I talk to the moon but it never answers me, it's light only grew brighter everytime I asked it something. Maybe i'll have to live on my own for the rest of my 'life' if that's what you call what I'm living right now.

*30 minutes later*

I suddenly heard footsteps, they were getting closer. Woo, someone's here! My thoughts screamed in joy. I didn't saw anyone, maybe it was just my imagination.... Uh, WHAT?... Someone grabbed me by the arms and threw me into a massive red sack. "North Pole." I heard an australian accent say, I was trying to kick my way out of there but it was useless. I felt that the sack I was in started moving. "Let me out!" I screamed. 2 minutes later I landed on a hard floor. I saw that the sack was being opened by some kind of big, hairy creature. I got out of the sack, I was in a gigantic room, strange people surrounded me, still lying on the floor, looking at everything around me. It was beautiful... But, where am I? Why did they take me here? "Wow... W-Where am I?" "Hahaha, you're in th North Pole, my dear, Santa's workshop." Said a tall man. Santa. I turned around and saw a tall bunny, a little golden guy, Tooth Fairy. Then I saw a very familiar face. Jack. He had a smile on his face, he was standing in his staff, looking at me. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I haven't seen Jack in a long time, now I see hem again. But I don't know what to feel or what to say, should I feel happy that I see him again? Or should I be mad at him because he just left me in the woods alone for a month? My thoughts ran through my mind, as Jack jumped off his staff and walked towards me, he sticked a hand out. I took it and standed up. I looked up to his beautiful blue eyes. I missed looking at them. He smiled at me "Hi" He simply said. "Hi Jack." I said back. I couldn't be mad at him at this moment, I missed him so much. "So you may be wondering why my yetis took you here." Santa said, waling towards Jack and me. "Actually, yes." I said with an angry tone. I walked towards Santa, letting go of Jack's hand, my eyes, skin and necklace started to glow, I STILL don't know how to control my powers, I don't really care. They are awesome. "We took you here because we need YOU to be a guardian." While Santa said that a lot of elves surrounded me and some yetis pulled Jack away. The elves started playing a song with some trumpets and drums. "Wait!!!" I screamed, the song stopped and everyone was looking at me. "Who said I wanted to be a guardian?"

Jack's POV:

"Who said I wanted to be a guardian?" Leyla said, everyone was looking at her, her skin and eyes were glowing as ever, I could tell that se was mad, very mad. "Man in the Moon told us." Bunny said. The music started again. She stomped a foot in the ground, making a large thunder sound. Everyone stumbled, the elves were mad that this happened again. Like with me. "I don't want to be a guardian like you, you work all day. I just want to live my life. And why would you need me anyway? You have everything under control right now." She said. She touched an elf with her finger and the elf was electrocuted. I let out a small chuckle. She's just like me. "We didn't choose you, Man in the Moon chose you, just like everyone of us" Tooth said, flying towards Leyla, they both looked annoyed. I think they don't like each other...?

"I don't get it, Man in the Moon talks to you, but everytime I ask him something he never answers..." Leyla said, her head looking down, she was sad. I wanted to hug her but I just knew that I couldn't. She stopped glowing, her head still looking down. "I-I just don't know what he wants me to do. I'm new to my powers and I don't even know how to control them. I'm useless" She said, turning herself down. "Useless? Useless?! You have AMAZING powers, you just can't call yourself useless." I said to her. She shouldn't turn herself down, she's... AMAZING.
