MEDITATING? SHEHNAAZ? HIS SANA?
Okay, that was a sight. He had never seen her practicing meditation before and hence this was surprising. His mind suddenly felt like that of a child, who'd do anything to get attention. His eyes shined with mischief as he got hold of the Bluetooth speaker kept beside her and increased the volume a little. However, she did not seem to take notice of that little change and so he decreased the volume this time and that too almost to nil but she did not budge. That was irritating. The fact that she was not getting irritated for irritating.
A few minutes later, Shehnaaz rubbed her palms together and then covered her eyes with them. A small smile played on her lips. She knew her husband would probably be sitting with a sullen face right now. She flickered her eyelids open the next second. Letting her eyes adjust to the light, she tilted her face upwards and looked at him. True to her thoughts he stood their with a cute, little pout on his face. She giggled and then wiggled her brows asking him what was he up to?
"Why are you up so early?" He huffed, settling down besides her and she burst out laughing for no apparent reason. He looked at her with his eyes squinted almost annoyed at how fresh she looked this early in the morning. She could run a marathon right now he concluded. But then she had always been like this, fresh like a daisy in the mornings. Only she was far away from the literal meaning of words like meditation let alone practicing them.
"You were meditating?" He asked.
"Yeah, What else did it look like?" She asked giving him a confused look.
"Nothing else. Just shocked," He replied, shrugging his shoulders looking at the vast sea in front of them.
"Shocked?"
"Yeah...I have never seen you meditating before, and whenever I used to, you never did accompany me, so I just assumed you don't like it." he explained.
"Well that is because I did not like meditating earlier or you can say I never really followed that way of calming myself before." She said.
"So now?" He asked confused with what she was hinting at.
"Sunega?" She asked and he nodded lying down there in her lap.
Privacy. It is one thing he loved about Private Villas. Nobody disturbs you until and unless you ask for help. There is a butler assigned for each villa to look after everything, and well, they could send him off whenever they did not need any help.
"Hmm", he hummed, taking her hands and putting them in his hair. He stared at her face for a second to register the smile she had on her face. The smile told him meditation was related to some good memory. But deep down, he knew that analysis was wrong. Perhaps he only wanted it to be a good one.
"After Adira was born you left in two weeks yaad hai?" She asked and he sighed.
After Adira was born he took the first project he got and he had to leave. The previous nine months had been a task for him. Shehnaaz and him were barely communicating. Those nine months he had kept himself busy with work in his father's firm, "The Ahuja's". Mumbai's and well at one point India's number one interior designing company. Those 9 months, well not even 9, to be more precise 7 months, he had stayed back willingly, even though his wife thinks he had stayed back as an obligation. She thinks he stayed because she was his wife and pregnant with their child, so he fulfilled his responsibilities. Wonder why he never explained or made her understand that what she was thinking was wrong? Well, he had just lost the will to.
