Jackson and April putting there 5 year old to bed. She wants a story, but doesn't like any of the books she has, so they tell her how they meet and fell in love

"One second buddy," Jackson said pouring juice into a princess cup. He screwed on the cap and walked past the living room where his and April's 8 year old son was sitting. "Your mom and I are putting Liz to bed."

The small boy with April's eyes, Jackson's olive skin and dark hair nodded. "I'll be out in a few minutes then we can watch your movie."

"Okay," he smiled. April's smile too. Jackson smiled and walked to their youngest's, Elizabeth's, room. He gave her juice and sat on the edge of her bed.

"What took you so long daddy?" The small five year old asked.

"Riley wants to watch his superhero movie, but I told him I have to put my little princess to bed first," he said glancing at his wife.

Elizabeth nodded and sat up, "so what story tonight?" April stood up and studied all her daughters books.

"Rupunzel?" April asked, Liz shook her head. "Jack and the bean stock?" Liz shook her head again. "Princess and the pea?" Shook again. She read all the story titles before April laughed and went back to her daughters bed.

"I've read them all already," she shrugged, as she played with her curly red hair. "Do you have any other stories?"

Jackson shook his head, "well there is one," April started. Jackson looked at his wife with forrowed eyebrows. "The story of your daddy and your mommy."

Lizzie's eyes lit up the room once her mom said that. April smiled at her daughters excitment. "Please?"

Both the girls looks looked at Jackson, "of course." Lizzie smiled.

"Riles," she called. A minute later he walked into his sisters room. "Mommy and daddy are telling us their story." He furrowed his eyebrows just like his father always did. "Come sit."

He walked to his sisters bed and sat next to his dad.

April looked at her husband amd smiled, "where to start?"

"The first day of our internship," he smiled and scanned the faces of the young ones. "We weren't friends, right away. Our friends Reed and Charles introduced us."

Lizzie and Riley noticed his face fall, "what's wrong daddy," Lizzie asked.

"Reed and Charles are in heaven, sweetie." April said grabbing her husbands hand. Lizzie went on her knees and hugged her father. She gently kissed his cheek and slightly giggled at his stubble.

Jackson smiled, and stroked his wifes hand, "so what next."

"Well the four of us grew really close, we worked at Mercy West for a few years before we merged with Greys Sloan, but back then it wasn't called Greys Sloan, it was call Seattle Grace." April countinued. "We countinued our residency there, your father got a girlfriend." April smiled and looked at her husband. "But she's not around anymore either."

"And your mother had a crush on her attending," Jackson added. April looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Why do you figure?" She asked.

"Well everyone knew but, that one time you came into the bathroom."

"I was talking to Lexie," that's when it hit her. "Wait," she placed her hand over her mouth. "Oh my god. We'll talk about this later."

April smiled and shook her head, "we need to stop getting distracted," Riley said.

April and Jackson both nodded, "we were best friends, she was always there for me."
