April smiled as her husband picked her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist and felt his grip tighten on her. She buried her face in his neck and closed her eyes.
"I missed you," she whispered, breathing in his scent.
Jackson didn't loosen his grip on her, "I missed you too, so much. Don't ever leave me again."
April blinked away tears she felt forming in her eyes, "I won't," she kissed his cheek and then looked him in the eyes, "I love you so much."
She quickly pressed her lips to his, "how about we take this home," April smiled.
"Not yet I don't want to let you go," he whispered. April rested her chin on his shouder and closed her eyes.
After a few more minutes Jackson finally decided to let his wife down. He kissed her forhead and grabbed her hand. "Let's get you home." They grabbed April's bags and walked to their car.
When Jackson and April walked up to their apartment he stopped her just before they walked in. He placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled.
Without a word he swooped her up bridal style. April giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Jackson Avery, what are you doing?" She chuckled as he carried her through the doorway.
He carried her into their apartment, and looked at her, "who says a husband can only carry his wife through a threshold once?"
April smiled as he put her down and grabbed her bags. He closed the door and walked up to his wife.
"Well my husband is full of great ideas," she whispered as he walked closer to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he rested his forehead on hers.
He swiftly captured her lips in his and picked her up. He carried her towards the bedroom, but April stopped him as they neared the living room.
"Good pick on the couch," she nodded and giggled. She pressed her lips to his and he walked to their bedroom. He placed her down and moved the pillows laying vertically down the bed.
April giggled against his lips amd pulled away, "what's with the pillows hun?" She asked.
"You were gone for a long time, I missed you by my side in the bed. After the first week, I made a pillow you." Jackson explained and sighed.
"Awww, that's adorable," she smiled, "that's my dork of a husband." April grabbed his shirt and pulled him close to her, "I missed you."
Okay, It's late, I should be sleeping (its 12 here and I have school tomorrow, I'm such an old person) any way. Tonight's episode BROKE ME, I will not give any spoilers, but for those who have watched the episode, I thought you would like a little reboot. After a couple weeks I will post a few stories, based on the finale. Well thank you I hope you enjoyed it and #LongLiveJapril.
P.S. I know I should have finished this sooner. The ending is a little rushed. But I'm supporting all my fellow Japril breathers. Thank you and good night!
