Also side note; Julie's been unconscious for about 3 months, Ruke have been together for 4ish

————Ray's Pov————

I nodded at the doctor standing across from me, I was trying to listen but all I could hear was what he said, not even five minutes ago "I'm sorry but we can't leave her on the machines, it's time to say goodbye"

I walked back to Jules' room and saw Flynn staring at her. "Flynn" I said voice cracking slightly "they're gonna turn off the machines, I can't afford to keep them on. I'm sorry"

Flynn just nodded, her body shutting down from what she had just heard. It took a minute before she looked up at me with tears running down her face 

"I can't live without Julie"

————Flynn's Pov————

I looked down at the street from the rooftop of the hospital. I said goodbye to Julie, there was nothing left. The boys would be just hearing the news or saying goodbye themselves. I knew I couldn't live without her, I knew there was no way to "move on" after this like everyone else was telling me that I should do.

"Flynn?" 

I heard Reggie's voice behind me, it was quiet, almost a whisper. I turned to look at him, his eyes were red, like he had just been crying. 

"She's awake Flynn"

"No she's not. You're just a stupid hallucination. Just like any other time I thought she would wake up, we both know she isn't going to"

"I'm not a hallucination. Punch me or something, just get away from the edge"

I took a step towards Reggie, hesitating. He nodded encouragingly, holding his hand out. I took it and slowly pulled myself away from the ledge towards him. The instant I was close enough Reggie hugged me the tightest I've ever been hugged before. I patted his back awkwardly.

"C'mon let's get you to Julie"

I walked back into Julies' room and I swear I felt time slow. It was like some sort of romantic movie, we locked eyes from across the room, I ran over to her with the biggest smile on my face nearly running into Luke. 

"Hey Flynn"

I pulled her into a hug, only rivaled in tightness by the previously written hug between Reggie and I. She laughed, "I missed you too". I couldn't to anything but smile at her, even though she had spent months unconsious Julie still looked perfect as ever.

--------Luke's Pov--------

Great! Julie's been awake for a week now! I got one of my best friends and our lead singer back. I started writing some new songs with Reg and all in all it's been a good week. Reggie keeps trying to slip country songs into my song journal, I love him to death- wait I love him to afterlife? I don't know but my god him and his country songs.

Julie's going home tommorrow, well technically today since it's 12am. I looked down at Reggie sleeping on my chest, he looked so peaceful and so painfully pretty. His eyes fluttered open to meet mine. 

"Stop staring at me and go to sleep"

I laughed and kissed the top of his head "Go back to sleep love" 

"No, I'm awake now" He said rolling his eyes

"Oh how sad. Guess we gotta find something to do if you're gonna stay up"

Reggie and I screamed and fell off our matress. I looked up and saw Alex standing over us, he was laughing at us so I flipped him off and rolled over to hide my face. 

"Shoulda gone to sleep earlier instead of keeping me up" Reg whispered to me before going with Alex to get breakfast. I followed them to the kitchen, of course after muttering a string of curse words after them but still.

"Hey Reggie, how'd ya sleep?" Flynn asked

He blushed and looked over to me but I just sat there with a smirk on my face. Flynn followed his gaze to me and upon seeing my face promptly said "Ew, I never should of asked. Don't tell me I don't wanna know"

"Hey guys" Ray said sitting down at the table, "what are we talking about?"

"Nothing" Alex said at the same time Reggie mumbled "Do you ever think about how we have to pretend to sleep to go to sleep" 

"Okay then, you boys should go get ready if you wanna come to get Julie"

Reggie and I put our plates in the sink and started walking to the garage.

"So," Reggie smirked "Shower?"
