Sa ngayon, pakiramdam ko, ako ang pinakamasaya at pinakamahalagang babae sa balat ng lupa.

"That was why I was so preoccupied that I didn't even notice what it was doing to you...I was so angry that I could even kill the man."

Naramdaman ko ang pag-akyat ng dugo sa mukha ko.

Oo nga't may nangyari na sa amin pero iba naman ang sitwasyon noon.

Mas excited pa yata ako sa mangyayari after...

"I never told you about Lalaine and me...don't get me wrong, sweetheart, but you need to know...for you to understand."

Tumango lang ako. Gusto ko rin malaman ang kwento nila kahit pa hindi ko maipapangako sa sarili kong hinding-hindi ako magseselos.

"She met one of our biggest foreign investor, a rich French-Canadian business tycoon, who indeed had much larger sum of money than I was. Lalaine was the one who was able to convince the guy to put his money on my company. She was 4 weeks pregnant then, and I thought my luck was overwhelming...I was going to be a father..."

Naramdaman kong humigpit ang yakap niya sakin at bahagyang nanginig ang boses niya, tanda na nandoon pa rin ang sakit na kinimkim niya ng ilang taon.

"After that, I was away for a month para sa isa pang business trip sa U.S., she wanted to stay para daw hindi na maabala pa ang lakad ko at para hindi ma-stress ang baby namin. When I went abroad, tinapos ko agad ang lahat ng kailangang tapusin which made me stay there for only 3 weeks. I wanted to surprise her, I went to buy a diamond ring and then I went home...to our home."
